I LEFT Everything and MOVED TO BALI, but Was it Worth it? 

I am a scientist. I love my job, but I feel trapped. I am already leaving in Asia, which is not my home country. So I feel also lonely some times. People you meet, come and go. So I am already used to adapt and feeling rootless. But I wonder what kind of job I could do, that allows me to be free..

Thanks so much! Mostly stress from work and making money.. also from relatilnships sometimes. Nice I'd definitely recommend trying Bali for a lomger stay! Also I like Koh Phanagan, Siargao, and Da Nang a lot! Next video will be about my tip 5 destinations for digital nomads actually. But without a bike, maybe best options would be Uluwatu if you can stay close to beach and cafes in Padang Padang or Bingin. Or in Canggu center or Pererenan close to Echo beach! Good luck🙏🏽

@@JooseTheNomad ah yeah damn I get that. I've just got a full time job but they let us work remotely in another country for 3 months of the year. Relationships can be hard when you want to move around a lot too... kind of the curse of the adventurer spirit I guess. thanks mate, look forward to that video. Koh Phangan? interesting, i actually stayed on a little island in Thailand called 'Ko Ngai' for a couple of days this year at a cheap resort, that was beautiful - i was thinking it'd be amazing to work from there for awhile. The food was so good and there were 60 minute massages for $5! they're $100 locally where i live ha. Man Siargao and Da Nang look amazing too. A place like Koh Phangan and Siargao look like you could just go there and chill like a working holiday - i'm suprised they have good internet actually. But a place Da Nang or Bali I feel it would be busier and you'd probably get more lonely - how do you establish yourself in a place like that when you move? I'm pretty introverted. I saw in your videos you joined racquet ball games, I guess that would be a good way to socialise. I'd love to try surfing too.

Thank you! At least in Canggu it's not a problem especially if you stay upstairs and have a room that is sealed well. There's many islands in Southeast Asia where it's way worse :)

@@JooseTheNomad thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated! My wife and myself are aiming for Canggu area indeed, initially for a month or so. Found a good few accommodations that are not open plan so should help hopefully. Is it a common problem where doors have gaps and whatnot? Would dread to book in something for a whole month just to turn out to be a pain rather than enjoyable. Albeit we are fully conscious that it’s a “we” problem. Thank you 🙏
