“Somewhere out there, there is a mom listening to out testimony thinking, ‘I cant even imagine their pain,’ not knowing that one day our reality will be hers.” Wow. The power of that statement.
Yes, listening & watching this video instantly watered my eyes with tears.. I just can not imagine the pain this Mommy & Daddy had been going thru right there,, even now.. I prayed in silence, Lord please surround them with your loving arms ..❤️❤️
It's hurts for anyone to lose a loved one regardless of age but it has to be like living in hell for it to be a child so young. I feel sorry for all the parents and siblings who lost someone due to one man's hate towards the life he lived.
I’ll never understand what the police were thinking, this is the biggest screwup I’ve ever seen. And cops usually get criticized everyday for just the opposite.
I agree, it the memories of them that's haunting and question of what could you have done differently. However this hurts even worse, when someone is violently stolen from you.
The mother spoke elegantly about her sweet child. Everytime I hear this couple 's daughter and her death I cry real tears. This is so heartbreaking! No answer about their daughter! She spoke the truth about money in this situation! Rip Beautiful Child! My condolences!
Comment on same here on that feeling. R.I.P to the victims victims ondol3nces to the victims family and friends as for the community and all victims to gun violence.💐
I teared up as she recollected her last moments with her daughter. The part where she turned around and acknowledged them on their promise for ice cream after school and the parent being haunted for the rest of her life with that last image in her mind really saddened me most. Oh what was on her mind as she running a mile to that school amidst the chaos and traffic just like the other parents who had children in this class :(
As a mother she has to speak for her daughter! 🥺😭 I was holding the tears back until I read this💜 because I can’t even imagine how she is able… I pray that she stays strong 🕊🙏🏾
imagine your child getting butchered, while certain (lobby paid) members of congress makes constitutional excuses after the fact - pretty much sums it up
I've got video of the Uvalde cops laughing and joking during the event. These 'parents' didn't lose a goddamn thing. [UVALDE SMOKING GUN(pun intended)]
This girl seems like she had a solid plan, motivation, and direction for her life. It’s tragic that one bad seed took that from her. I wish the victims and their families the best.
Her life story sounds like a lot of folk who stayed in my hometown to be loser addicts. These kids were like 9, good grades don't mean one's life is more valuable....or anything at all.
@@renclave I said that not because of her grades, but because she had a plan. So many of us don’t really know what we want to do when we graduate. I found that admirable. On another note, plenty of kids with good grades lead on to life successful lives. But saying this when the context is a school shooting? What the heck is wrong with you?
Whenever I go to my daughter's school for something during the day she cries to bring her with me when it's time to go, I wouldn't be able to go on if I knew I told her no when something like this happened
The saddest part of her testimony isn’t the words she spoke it’s that she was wasting them on people who couldn’t care less and will do absolutely nothing about gun violence
@@arbizu27 it would keep guns out of the hands of children just because you’re 18 doesn’t mean you’re ready for that sort of responsibility there should be mandatory training for gun ownership to prove you’re competent in handling these arms before you can get a license
@whocaresanymore He probably knows that Chicago has exceedingly strict gun laws but yet some of the highest gun violence in the country. Definitely not dumb .
@@countrymusicexplosion9974 you can’t even have your own weapons in the barracks and are made to register all personal firearms you bring with you and they are held by the armory in a secure locker and before you’re even issued weapons they train you till you’re competent enough to handle the weapon on your own joining the military has stricter gun rules than you think and civilians have more lax rules compared to our armed forces so no I don’t think the age for enlisting should be raised but if you’re a civilian the age should be raised for gun ownership to 21 since training in muzzle and trigger discipline isn’t required for ownership and leads to irresponsible behavior I’d rather have training become mandatory before you can even get a license to show the state you aren’t a threat to yourself or others
Just to have to sit there with a straight face while a mother is telling a heart wrenching story must be unbearable. I don’t think I could do that job. Words cannot express my sorrow for the families of those babies and teachers. May God give them strength to continue and somehow heal the emptiness in their hearts.
@@jimmycricket8548 Well I don’t believe that it was the time to write notes in her phone and keep passing it to the woman in the front. This was not a boring meeting that no one wants to attend at work just to go over figures..
@@alwaysniccole3810 it did seem a bit odd but I have to assume that I have no idea what she was showing on her phone and therefore can’t cast aspersions.
Kimberly, Thank you for sharing your story. Your words were heart wrenching yet powerful. Words that will not be forgotten just like your sweet Lexi will never be forgotten. Praying for you Felix and your family.
I was usually fortunate enough to get to take my children home with me after awards ceremonies, I just pray that one day these parents that feel guilty for leaving their children that day can forgive themselves, no one could have guessed that this would happen and they would not bring their children home later that afternoon. Just absolutely heart breaking!
Send your condolences but no one needs to know how ‘fortunate’ you were to take your kids home after ceremonies…. Sone parents aren’t that ‘lucky’ and don’t need to hear about your fortunes during a very unfortunate moment in life 🙄
@@aleayh what a rude hateful person you are, I said nothing wrong, as a parent I missed out on many things in my children’s lives but the comment was not to focus on my life but to pray for these parents that are saddened because they weren’t able or chose to not take there children home or simply sent their children to school that horrible day like we all do not knowing what was to come. I pray for peace for them, because they did nothing wrong. Just because I started my comment the way I did… absolutely nothing bad was intended by it. My heart is crushed for these parents and the innocent children gone forever over senseless violence. This world has no need for such and it also has absolutely no need for rude hateful critical people like you. I pray God replaces your hate with love and kindness! And next time if you can’t say something nice just don’t reply to people comments there’s really no need for it because I certainly didn’t need that rudeness and ugliness in my life today!
Politicians aren't elected to create laws based on emotions. It's not bravery to cave into the mob. What is brave is often done despite the mob. There were laws in place that would've stopped this but weren't enforced.
@@jonathandevereaux298 agreed. It is now more obvious than ever the police will not save us. I've written my representatives. I don't wish to be disarmed. I have a family to protect.
Idk how you think democracy works, but if American voters wanted more gun laws there would be support for that in Congress and the Senate. Instead we see anti-gun politicians losing elections and getting record low poll numbers, while Americans donate more money to the NRA (and better gun rights groups), and buy more guns than ever before. Face it, the American people don't want more gun laws. Sorry.
@Catsup Tha God lawmakers can only disobey voters so much before they lose re-election. The reason they aren't passing new gun laws is because most Americans voters are against it.
@@stephenlott6968 the NRA is going bankrupt because they suck. 😁. You are right; there are much better guns rights groups out there. PS The USA is not a democracy. Sorry, pretty peeve of mine
The worst part is you can’t think of one thing these parents could of done to protect their children and there is no desire to prevent it from happening again.
This was so hard to watch and every parent should be able to leave their child/children at school with confidence knowing that they're gonna be safe. These parents can't let the quilt weigh them down, it wasn't their fault 💔🙏
Thank you Ben Crump and Associates for being strong advocates for so many people... Many People don't seem to care about life, but they seem to take notice when they are hit in their pockets😕
That’s teacher mr. Reyes didn’t want to outlive any of those babies and it’s was so obvious to hear. Since this I found my self playing basket ball outside my child’s school till she got off. Thank god it was undue paranoia.
And what is Congress going to do? Send in the police to sit in the parking lot and do nothing while monsters rampage? Tell criminals to obey the law? Disarm law abiding citizens so they can't protect themselves when the police refuse to take any action? My representatives are doing exactly what we ask them to do; protecting our rights.
Wow, I can't even imagine the pain they are feeling every single day since that happened and my heart goes out to them, 😭😭❤❤😘😘 Please please please change the laws to save innocent lives so this hopefully won't happen again
I’m deeply saddened for every child who was lost there life due to this senseless murder done by mentally unstable individual and a police force who were restrained on entering the school. It would seem to me strengthening entry to the inside of the school would be # 1 on immediate changes that need be made!! Period!! The other problem is we’ve taken God out of our schools and the respect for human life!🙏 For those families that have been effective by this!
The U.S. has a deflection in its moral compass. The government and main stream media has helped dissolve the family unit. Once the family unit goes, so goes the country.
@@payasoinfeliz The world was a nice place until Democrat policies slowly rotted out the core of the family unit. Guns have been around for the entire history of the nation. Only different is now schools are "Sitting Duck Zones" thanks to Democrats. Kids have worse mental health due to Democrats. Families are torn apart due to Democrats. lol.
OMG, I'm so sorry for these parents traumatic experience. I wish that their pains could be erased but how or when that will be. The police officers are just as heartless as the cruel gunman.
Jesus be with this family this is devastating to hear I’m so sorry 😞 her baby girl didn’t make it. Probably could’ve survived if those cowards that call themselves law enforcement would’ve went in early
Thank YOU OU. Dearest another of Lexi for speaking out. It must have been,. Sorry, no words to describe it. Thank you. Everyone needs to hear your words. Michelle, a Mother and Grandmother
our daughters have both graduated from high school. Every day I said I love you to them as I dropped them off at school and every day I worried if it would be the last time I saw them. No one should have to live in fear of being shot or a loved one being shot, in school, at the movies, grocery shopping, walking down the street, etc. We need real gun control now. My condolences to all the families.
If the police was actually doing there job these kids would have been alive. It’s not that we need gun restrictions we need the police to be help accountable they didn’t do anything to stop the shooting.
@@denM-ey3vb let's be honest, he didn't need a firearm to kill these children, he had an hour... He could have used a hammer (or even a butter knife) to end up with the same outcome.
@@davidgrover5996 that’s the problem. I just don’t know! I love shooting and don’t want to lose access to guns. I’ve had my eyes on working my way up to buying a Barret 50 cal but at the very least want to be able to watch Demo Ranch use it. Everyone knows at least 1 guy that “shouldn’t have a gun” Either terrible emotional control or they are just not responsible. Would love to see us find a way to limit guns to those people. I just don’t know what the answer is but want us try something. Even if it’s too much. We can always pull back some.
@@mikemurphy80 They have never pulled back on a bad Gun Prohibitionist policy. The one time they came close they sneaked in a total ban on new production for an entire class of firearms. Remember that these massacres were exceedingly uncommon before the ACLU’s mental healthcare bar, political activist Psychiatrist and Psychologists, and Progressive Politicians destroyed the Mental Healthcare and Asylum systems during the 50s, 60s, and 70s, even though up until 1968 you could order explosives, machine guns, and cannons through the US mail with no background check at all? So obviously the point to target is the perpetrator. Because controlling a 1000 year old technology that can be built from common materials with simple tools is not going to be any more of a winner than the drug war. Particularly in a country where you probably have someone with a machine tool within a mile of where you are.
Also the doors from the schools shall be locked and secured! One day in Las Vegas, (NV), a man in his 30's got angry at his girlfriend, pulled a gun, and started driving towards a Jr High-School building. People at the parking lot saw him and told all the school's staff to lock all doors and windows from that building, even before they called the Police! This man tried to enter but couldn't... he tried the windows too! Students could hear the sounds... Police arrived in time to witness that and arrested him on-the-spot! He could've done with a knife too... he was more of the problem than his gun. LOCK YOUR DOORS!
Then you guys are going to have to deal with two problems. One 18 has been established as a de facto citizenship age by the 26th amendment. Two you will have to rewrite other laws as well as get a constitutional amendment.
I am so deeply sorry. She was a treasure. Love and Hugs for your Family. I will never forget. I wish I had answers. I agree with all your demands I will continue signing petitions and writing letters to Congress. I want to do more. The loss of Darling Lexi is a huge hole in our universe. She will be missed but NEVER forgotten! Prayers and Safety for your Family and all the other Families. My hugs for you Momma.💕 A Colorado Mountain Grandma
I want to know what we do as parents? Some of us can’t home school because we have to work to provide but we don’t want to send them to school because we don’t know if they coming out back home. Worry about grocery stores and gas stations or ride down the freeway. The blood is on the government hands!
Lexi will never be just a number nor was she ever just be a number. Sadly she will always be earthly missed.. She is now another heavenly child back with our creator. I’m so sorry Lexi was violently taken from you all.
Should we also raise the legal use of alcohol and tobacco to 25 as well? It is only fair, I don’t want some young immature person drinking and driving.
The sad part is do you really think these politicians care sitting up in Congress. They here the pain & grief of countless victims families and do nothing. Americans please help take our pain to the Polls and vote these cold 🥶 hearted don’t care attitude always on recess vacation old farts out of office. 🇺🇸
The problem I see here is we have lost to many innocent children due to school shooting the government has already heard all of the sadness many families had to endure and still nothing , this isn’t nothing new many of us have heard, the real question when ? When will they do something how many more shooting and crying mothers do they want to hear ?
From our creator we all come and to our creator we must all return. Lexi isn’t just a number nor will she ever be just a number. Lexi will forever sadly be earthly missed. Lexie is now heavenly with our creator. You will see Lexi again. I’m so sorry she was violently removed from your family.
Who is this lady that they are showing and who is the lady sitting behind her that keeps showing her stuff on the phone while this loving mother is heartbreaking and emotionally talking about her angel?
