I have no kids, and still I feel the pain of those affected so deeply that my eyes water when I watch these news reports about what happened.

I can imagine it. That's why if I ever had kids I would never, ever, submit my kids to public schooling. Between bullies, mass shooters, inept teachers, perverts ect it's just not worth it for the sake of a child to have "the human social experience." There's nothing wrong with homeschooling. I never learned anything beyond 3rd grade in school that was ever put to any practical use in my every day life, everything else is self taught through experience. I mean you gotta figure you have to count on ALL the parents not to abuse their kids, for your child not to be exposed to "a bad apple" that will rub off on YOUR child influencing them toward delinquency, and that an unvetted teacher wont perv on them, and that you just "get lucky" that your kid wont be the 1 in 100,00 that dies to a mass shooting, or the 1 in 3 students that gets bullied.

Me too , heart-wrenching. The truth is we must pray for these shattered families , and VOTE for politicians will to change the sale of assault weapons. Im over hear crying at this video! This is every parents worst nightmare. Its one thing im grateful that I haven’t experienced hopefully never will . even though I don’t have children yet. I still cant imagine the heartbreak it must be . Children aren’t supposed to die before their parents! 😭

I think I know what Congress is doing now--and it's not necessarily about gun laws or school shootings. Both parties would rather "buy votes from voters" than getting things done.
