carolina reaper is actually one of the more delicious peppers. just also happens to be the hottest. ghost peppers are gross though. any sauce with extract in it isn't going to be very tasty either.
I don't do spicy I am a wuss. However if I am gonna do spicy I head for the Thai food it is the only time my mouth is burning and I am still heading back for more. I am addicted to Thai Green Curry (Mai Ploy Brand)
As someone who grows peppers from jalapeños to dragons breath...and makes hot sauce with said peppers... I've gained a lot of knowledge on how capsaicin works... that shot would be absolutely excruciating for almost anyone lmao. Alcohol draws the capsaicin oils out of whatever it's in. Btw the pure capsaicin tastes just awful. Nasty chemical taste haha. Props to you sir! I'm impressed as hell you kept it down.
Note for people who think someone is stealing your booze: choose a drink with a pinkish, reddish, or orangish hue and add this to a bottle secretly, or use a normally clear drink and mention that you just bought or found a way to make a strawberry or cotton candy version. Then set this bottle in the normal storage spot and just wait. You know its a trap, they dont. Or for a final penalty round or for a “they didnt hit” cost in beer pong use a shot, but probably one gum for… a like 3 gallon vodka jar.
Isn't it nice how alcohol seems to amplify the heat? Here's something to try: 1) Have something spicy so you can really feel the heat in your mouth (nothing too insane though). 2) Have a sour patch kid or anything similar. 3) Enjoy the jolt to your mouth lol.

@@totallynotdelinquent5933 I mean... by all the definitions of toxin I could find capsacin does seem to be a toxin. It literally evolved in the peppers to protect them from mold and insects. And in high doses its actually dangerous even for humans (millions of SHU).
