yesss ok I thought about this!! but then I was like hmm I don’t want it to turn into just recreating the premade rooms in a different floor plan if that makes sense? maybe I could make sure to grab at least a full kitchen and a bathroom for next time!!
@@sarahkendall maybe you could count the rooms and then randomize which ones you get? ik that's a lot of work and you still risk getting a category more than once, but it's less likely to get as much from one category than if you choose every 7th room (or.. imagine you would've rolled to pick every 3rd room...). also, i loved the idea and execution (:
A spin on that idea is every apartment is a random premade room. Like you randomize 1.) How many apartments, 2.) Which rooms then you have to make the apartments out of those rooms a studio apartments.
This was so fun! I’d love to see it again maybe with some of the fun suggestions from the comments too. The punching bag being used as a toilet roll blew my mind! Lol
have you already done an alphabetic challenge? Like using only item without the most use letter in english, or each room is team around a letter so you have to make the vibe of the letter and only use item with the letter in their name? Or something like that. And this video is really cool, love the idea
CHALLENGE : make a house with anything from the base game, without debug, without being allowed to move the objects or change their size (no cheat code)
🤎 this was a fun build challenge idea. What about one random room from each pack? Although that would be a lot of rooms. 4 separate builds maybe? One with random expansion pack rooms, game pack rooms, stuff pack rooms and Kit rooms.
Thx for your videos - I've watched most of them and they are super fun!! ❤ There's just one question that really bothers me - is it a common thing in US when the kitchen is set right next to the entry? Like... it's muddy there and stuff, and while studying arch I've been constantly told that "dirty" rooms (like mudroom) are supposed to be separated from the areas which are thought to be more or less sterile, just like kitchen or dining room, for instance. Not necessarily with a separate wall but functional zones are still to be divided somehow. At least in more or less real houses lol :D It's not a claim or something, I'm just sincerely curious 🙈
it’s not that I hate it 😭 it’s more like the items don’t go with much else that’s in the game so it’s very hard to find uses for them!! a lot of people do actually hate it though 😅
