I honestly think he's just a chill guy that makes music for the fun of it. Like, he says writing pop songs doesn't come Natural to him, but he loves hanging out with his friends and making them. He truly just does whatever the fuck he's in the mood for 😂
@@georgeandfriendsadventures5073 Jessie Ware- Say you love me. Justin bieber- ‘cold water’ and ‘love yourself’. BTS- ‘permission to dance’ and ‘make it right’. One direction- ‘little things’ and ‘18’. Benny blanco, khalid, Halsey- ‘Eastside’. Anne Marie-‘2002’. Little mix Nicki Minaj- ‘woman like me’ are some of them I can remember.
everything changed when i saw ed sheeran live - thats where he REALLY shines as a musician... its unreal how huge of a sound and how much energy he brings as a one-man-show with just his acoustic and looper. don't count him out until you see him live!
I genuinely think that people who dislike Ed Sheeran just do it because they want to seem 'above that'. He's a super talented song writer and has a beautiful voice. He's also a super chill, down to earth guy....what's not to like? His music/voice might not be your cup of tea, but if you can't find at least a few Sheeran songs that you can enjoy, that's a you problem ;)
Nice, to me subtract def brought me back to ed sheeran again after not being a big fan of his previous 2 albums. I think subtract is objectively his best album. But mulitply is my personal fave cuz i was 15/16 and remember listening to it on loop when it came out. The soundtrack to my teenage years honestly.
yea honestly i love multiply and i feel like it's one of his best written. personally i feel like subtract isn't his BEST written album but the emotions it conveys hit hardest
subtract brought me back to my ed sheeran era and I know it might be his absolute best but I think it's the most album of his that I've had on repeat since it dropped and i also think that because it was such an emotional album to got me wanted to know more about Ed and connect with him as a person which led me to watching his interviews and documentary and even this reaction video and yeah basically we're besties now 😊
i think for lana it takes a while to fully understand and get into her albums bc her sound is so experimental. but i would say the easiest to get into is born to die or norman fucking rockwell
Duude divide was the first album I bought! Got to the record store a day early to reserve it, and he just gave it to me right away, so I got to listen to it a day early! Core Memory for sure
Haha, it was the same for me a couple years ago. I didn’t think I even knew who he was and when I searched out his music, I was like “oh, that’s him? Oh, that’s him too? Oh, yeah, that song. Ok I guess I know a lot of Ed Sheeran’s music.” 😂
Just because your in the middle of a series doesn't mean that you can't make other videos about other artists! I really liked this video, and whenever u choose to post the next Taylor video, I can't wait💞

Salt Water 5. Life Goes On I am truly a giant fan of Ed. Great think that you did here. The documentary, The Sum Of It All, it was so emotional on me. Thank you so much for making this video. And I love The Mathematics era so very much.
I would recommend Herion from Lust for Life, I think its really beautiful lyrically as well as Summertime Sadness and Living Legend. Amazing content, keep up the great work
when it comes to lana del rey, you should start by her older stuff (born to die, ultraviolence) to her newest, cause usually her newest albums are kind of hard to get into if you’re not a fan
Just stumbled upon your video and I honestly really respect how you react to these albums. I think you're really cool about being able to express how you feel without being overly negative or biased in any one way. I feel like a lot of reactors just lean fully into a positive or negative perspective so this was really refreshing. As an Ed Sheeran fan, I've seen so much hate and I feel like it's just because they hear a few of the biggest hits and decide he's just really basic and generic when a lot of his music has a lot more depth than a lot of people think. Ed rapping is a different conversation but I honestly don't mind it that much, and I personally love Eraser.
Love the video, you are great for doing this! I am a genuinely HUGE fan of Ed by far my favorite singer. I just feel like his music connects with me emotionally at a different level, and his falsetto is just beautiful. I like you analysis, but absolutely cannot believe that you called Subtract shit. By far my favorite album of all time from any singer. The emotion and peacefulness one can draw listening to it is next level and saltwater is my favorite Ed song.
omg so for the lana part at the end I'll try suggesting six songs that kinda define her sound? ride, brooklyn baby, the greatest, if you lie down with me, summer bummer, chemtrails over the country club
not the ass shaking in outback steakhouse (also I just wanted to say I enjoy watching your videos on like any artist, I just love seeing people discuss an artists discography)
Believe it or not, thanks to you I also began with the series "ranking every Song from ..." for myself. Not only is it fun, but I discovered so many songs from certain artists and certain albums. Right now I have ranked every song from The weeknd and Taylor Swift (I am rn working on Lana Del Rey). I began with the series in February so one can tell I really take My time and listen to the albums multiple times to understand them better, because that's what music is. So yeah, thx for the inspiration. Some artists that I will look in the future one day (and perhaps you too lol) are for example: Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, Lewis Capaldi and Adele. Ed will be noticed in my list too👍🙌
Another excellent video! I love Ed for much the same reason I enjoy Taylor: they are not the greatest singers but can sing, not the greatest musicians but can play. What the both do really well is create Amazing Music and Entertain! Ed rapping is not for loving him rapping, but he totally pulls it off and that’s just fun. Also for both the sound of a great acoustic guitar catches my attention.
I’d love to see you cover artists like AJR, imagine dragons (for the sake of nostalgia alone), regina spektor, and the lumineers. also, great video, it weirdly brought back so many memories.
Plus gotta be the best album ed made i remember my brother introducing me to this foreign genre where people spoke english instead of our native language and it was pretty memorable for me
divide is also the first album i listenewd to front to backkk, it was also the first show/tour ive ever been to. It will always have a special place in my heart...yes... even galway girl (BUT DIVE THOUGH!?? HIS VOICE AT THE END IS SOOO BRAIN SCRATCHER!! what do you think about dive? its my fav)
Hey abt Lana’s songs, some of my fav albums are Born To Die, Ultraviolence, lust for life and Paradise. There are some songs better than the others, so talking only her songs, my top is: Diet Mountain Dew National anthem Cherry Ride West coast Hope it helps!
Ed Sheeran music related to me that's the reason I love him, I could listen to his music all day. I don't care what you say about him he's my favorite artists out there today❤❤❤❤❤
Lana Del Rey song you can listen to 1. West Coast 2. Swan Song 3. Bartender 4. Vince B*tch 5. Chemtrails over the country club 6. Dealer 7. A & W And honestly if you don't like her after that. Well i can just hope you change your mind, because I am a Lana stand.
I am a sheerio (Ed Sheeran fan) and I found this video hilarious 😂 I agree with your opinion 6 collaboration I don’t really like but I sometimes listen to it like Take it Back to London 😊
I've never been a fan of Ed, I just like the songs he has with Taylor, some songs from = and I liked Eyes Closed and Boat, but he totally deserves respect and credit for his trajectory. Your editing is getting better and better
ive been beggin for gracie abrams for weeks do her first after taylor or maybe second just dont forget to get to her is what i mean gracie abrams helped me out of depression and then maybe put me back in it ????? but she is awesome and comforting lmao
can we appreciate the cheers mate rap😂and omg that was grt british accent plus grt animation makes the video evn more fun .....and jason for lana take as much time u can she like that one artist more you listen more u vibe with her ....i started mine with norman fucking Rockwell but i actually rec u start with born to die or ultraviolence
and i recommend for anyone that cares his recent interview with Zane Lowe where he discussed working on his album subtract and what he been though last year with his grief and wife, facing criticism and his approach to making his music and how he views pop music and honestly it was a very lovely deep conversation and got me knowing him much better as a person and an artist so it was like a part 5 to the documentary
Loved this video, been waiting for it since I found your channel a few months ago. I would move Divide tot he top (personal connection with it), but otherwise I think ur ranking was on point. Thank you for being one of the few to not outright hate on Equals. I think it definitely has gems. I noticed it was not in your top 5, consider giving Tides another chance. Tides, Collide, and Be Right Now (that song is not everyone’s cup of tea, right away, but it’s a huge grower for me) are my favorites!
and sorry I'm spamming the comments 😭 but this is the first time I stumbled on your channel and I was impressed, didn't agree on everything you said but you were very objective and you actually do your research and put time into your judgment, very respectful (though when you said he's not the best looking dude I was like that's foul, 😭) and you're funny too, the editing is fun and amazing! so overall a fun first experience on your channel and you got my sub
You should listen to all of Jon Bellion’s albums. Such an impressive collective of work. Great video, what a nice first find to stumble on your channel :)
Hey bro, I love your videos. My favorite artist is a rapper named NF. He's got a bunch of great albums, kinda outside of his first one. I would love to see you go through those and tell us what you think. Much love man, keep up the good work.
@@jasonpaulkim also, I wanted to let you know how incredible you’re editing for these videos are. For a small RU-vidr, I’m always really impressed how engaging and well edited everything you do is.
this video is killing me! 😂 definitely the funniest out of all the other album videos. i request listening to bruno mars (if u didn’t yet) next when you have the time to 👀
"And the other Ed Sheeran haters are probably-" GONNA DIE :) - A depressed psycho maniac person who likes and wants to be a ginger cries too much, anxious autistic annoying person who is obsessed with Ed Sheeran and cries at songs like F64 and Photograph and Little Lady and The A Team and stuff bc backstories and shit but uh yeah that's me and I'm depressed rn my whole personality is depression I am not kidding I cry all day and have suicidal thoughts and idk why I'm say this but that's who I am I am not mentally stable. That's why I love Ed Sheeran. AND I LOVEEE, LOVEEE SONGS Fuck I exposed myself
i really love + and most of x! the latest two albums aren't my thing though. this review was great, i usually watch reaction vids but i think i prefer this more! ((BTS next, Jason!! Dark and Wild is a GYM album))
@@jasonpaulkim ouuu have fun then! and definitely good luck, i think their discography is just as big as taylor's. looking forward to the chaotic vibes and ofc your opinions :)
you should listen to billie eilish! its only 2 albums and 1 ep for a total of 3 projects so not sure if thats not enough projects for you to review but they are really solid especially considering shes only 21
