Most of these media outlets journalists has never ever visit China. The most nearest place they may visit is HK which is far from Chinese cities in term of development, infrastructures, transportation, and even food (if I may say so). Btw, I have been to HK, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul. None of the mention countries beats China in almost every aspects of a visitor's want.
Nobody has seen the paradise but China is close to one. Safety, ease of living, affordability, cleanliness, no scary darkness in the corners, innocent people who don't hate anyone, wide open clean cities with separate bike lanes, beautiful parks and green trails, no homelessness, roof over almost everyone 's head ,millions of varieties of food, no crime, no theft. Even being unemployed and being down gives me sense of safety sitting on the steps in the middle of bustling city.
I was one of those who were pleasantly surprised when I visited China. It was NOTHING like we've been told back in the West. Their Civic Infrastructures and the affordable Civic Services for all, is second to none. I also visited USA, and I was shocked at the level of poverty I saw (street people), the poor Civic Infrastructures (broken roads, bridges that haven't been repaired for years, building in NYC held up by scaffolds), the filthiness around suburbs, and the fact that people in USA walk around with guns (40,000 gun related deaths a year).

I'm from Norway and have been lucky to have travelled around the world due to my work for almost 30 years now. Been living in Asia since 1998 and have never heard anyone says they hate China anywhere. Sceptical yes and so was I because first time I was in China was in 1999 in an area with a lot of industry which was not so nice but only for work so I didn't mind. Lived in Shanghai from 2014 to 2020 which was fantastic, will probably always my favorite time in a big city as I prefer smaller cities. Now I'm in Yangzhou which is very nice too but nothing can beat Shanghai in my opinion.

You actually live in one of the nicest city in China, Kunming. The place is beautiful, the weather is just about perfect and the cost is very down to Earth. (Oh, the Kunming version of tradisional massage is about the best in China)

China is a wonderful country. Six years ago we went with my wife to the wedding of our youngest son with a beautiful and intelligent Chinese young woman. The people so well educated, the art and culture, the food, the transport. Everything absolutely fantastic..

Most hate? I like China the most. What a country...I look at them as a someone that I can learn from. A hard working people who get shaded and humiliated but still get hate(?) just because don't obey the bully. You'll be surprised if you know that Chinese people in general always think that they has so much to learn, they're still not good and need to improve themselves in many areas. They're humble people.
Great video. It is heaven compared to most of the cities in the USA. The metros, cities and infrastructure in China are just superb, safe, reliable and affordable. The most “hated” country in the world is the best place in the universe.
My parents are from Iran and I was born in Germany and I have been looking forward to visit China for a long time now. Never understand how some people build their opinion on politics or new channel. The United States are a third world country in my eyes but for some reasons think they are the best in the world. China is so much more far ahead of the west in some aspects(not perfect) but still.
