I love traveling, spending time outdoors and trying all sorts of Chinese foods(some weirder than others). I also share some news about China and how it may affect me living here.

As a Chinese, I ask bloggers not to overbeautify China. We are still developing countries. There are still many shortcomings and a long way to go. We have two 100-year plans, the first 100-year plan will not end until 2050. India, Japan and South Korea are the developed countries, and we are at the end
Where you gather so much informations about China economy? Trade going down is not by China itself is due to trade war started by USA. Now Microsoft outlets closed down in China after incidents of aircraft flight delayed or stopped for days in the world.
Did anyone notice how big is the Taiwan section? 😅 IMO, there wouldnt be a war regardless of how the Western media likes to portray, Taiwan will unite with China peacefully in the near future. Taiwan simply cant afford to go to war with China. Period.
Much of us in Western countries have to improve our home countries to make them better than we were born in. Much of the issues described are also issues in the home countries of westerners. Much of the issues Liszt mentioned exist in my country which is the USA (“well, you don’t have universal health insurance but at least you don’t live in Afghanistan” which I struggled with insulin rationing). Westerners, if they wanna get China to be motivated to make even better changes, is to clean your closet at home - especially in Western Europe and North America, which are the regions who held back global and domestic development for a really long time.
Actually China has passed the USA in nominal GDP three years back if the calculation is based on manufacturing output. The USA counts financial transactions, insurance, and other non manufacturing factors in their calculation of GDP which China doesn't do. In PPP terms China passed the USA since 2014.
Most unfortunately most if not all Westerners know China only from the 1840s onwards unless they visit China firsthand. The actual fact is China has a very long and unbroken civilization and a continuous history of 5,000 years
