The thing with this challenge when it comes to you basically being starved all day (aside from a bunch of water until the evening) is what did your sim start the day at for its hunger meter? If that meter was full, you technically should’ve eaten before hand so your “needs” matched the sim.

@@MissedBandwagon She also started fresh out of CAS, which is why her Sims' needs were 100% at the beginning, and why she stood outside for 15 minutes. It would have been slightly more realistic if she had played through a day or two in game before the day she replicated.

I think making a brand new Sim for this challenge wasn’t a good idea because she started out with full needs, meaning she doesn’t need to eat/drink/pee/shower for ages. If Kelsey had used an existing Sim then more would have happened and it would have been a bit more exciting.

Note to all of you who want to do this challenge, Sims WILL spend HOURS and HOURS on their computer and not care about their needs, or other Sims, especially if that sim is a child or toddler (they wet themselves, starve themselves etc), so if you want this challenge to go by more smoothly GET RID OF YOUR SIMS COMPUTER OR DON'T BUY ONE!!

I watched a couple of these. The issue seems to be that time and distance in Sims is out of proportion. For example, in Gloom's video, Judy walks across the house at a regular pace, and it takes her 5 to 10 minutes. She isn't walking slowly either. You can see on the computer that she's just walking normally. The result is when Gloom does it, she has to step in place. So even though Gloom and Judy take the same amount of time by the clock, they are doing very different things (walking normally vs. stepping in place). I propose "scaling up" Sims time to be proportionate to Sims distance. Let's say it takes you 30 seconds to cross your house, and the Sim takes 5 minutes to cross a house the same size. That means 1 minute in real time = 10 minutes in Sim time. So let the Sim live 10 days, and condense that into 1 day. (This also solves the problem of the Sim peeing once in a whole day or eating 1 yogurt all day long.) However, you might end up with 10 mini-naps throughtout your day instead of 1 big sleep. It seems that hunger and bathroom are proportionate to real time, but energy is proportionate to Sim time. Can't solve everything, oh well.

Did she turn off autonomy in settings? Because my sims don't stand around for more than five minutes unless I do. They're always wandering off to do something else

If you turn it off they don't do anything at all,they probably had some lag since I have some and this sort of thing happens

I think this would’ve been better if maybe she had a higher skill level in stuff ur good at(or just basic level1/2) like cooking, fitness, comedy, guitar, mixology, gaming, etc. I think bc the sim had no skills it didn’t plan to start anything or do anything with the guitar or cook a real meal. It’d be interesting to see you do this again but with a more seasoned sim! Interesting nonetheless , but it makes sense why the sim didn’t do much. Much love :)

You should let somebody else control your Sim and they should try and make your Sim max a skill. I've always wondered what life would be like if I was as diligent with my Sim as I was with being me. Dead, probably. In a closed-off room with a single guitar in the middle.

Gloom did several of them. The funniest is that with her boyfriend and Judy. She is incredible!!!!!! Kelsey did ok. However, that type of challenge never starts on new sim. You need to get it into your lifestyle and teach couple of things like cooking, playing instruments and so on. And start of chaleenge is the morning on your bed. When sim is hungry and need to pee as normal morning human. Also, it can be very accurate if you act like a sim, talk their funny language.

In most of America grilled cheese is often considered a lunch or dinner food. Often people have eggs, toast, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, pancakes, waffles, yogurt or stuff along those lines for breakfast. Although this varies depending on region, culture and of course funds/time :)!

Eliseo Palacios Not really :) I know quite a few people who enjoy it for dinner, especially accompanied with tomato soup. It’s quite common for poorer individuals or those enrolled in University!
