Another great video as usual! About the ghosts being visible, it is because of the item eye of the priestess which you use to see Ava in the ivory king DLC. overall, all "ghost" enemies in shade ruins will now be visible permanently.
To answer your question, in the rat king covenant, 10 tails will give you 10 small smooth and silky stones, at 20 tails you get 10 smooth and silky stones, and at 35 tails you get the slumbering dragoncrest ring
Hey bro u can get an early titinite slab in the forest of gaints area. In the room with the ballista's that shoot once u enter, underneath is a lockstone which will open a room with the slab in a iron chest.
From DS1, I'd want the Gravelord Sword(Should have been able to craft it with the Old Dead One NG+ Boss soul), and the Gold and Silver Tracers with a unique powerstance move set if you wielded them together. They would have been cool to see in both DS2 and Elden Ring. I wish they brought back Lucatiel's Sword(Hollowslayer in DS3) in Elden Ring. Same with the Blue Flame. For all of DS2's faults, there was a ton of customization, and some fantastic bosses.
The item that makes Aava visible, called the Eye of the Priestess, it turns all enemies with the invisible property visible such as the ghosts in Shaded Woods.
@@irjethalili the invisible hollows mentioned are different - completely invisible, only spottable via their shadows - they’re passive and scattered throughout the world
Just FYI, there are 8 Petrified Dragon Bones in a metal chest behind a breakable wall as you go through the corridors where you have many barrel dudes (around 22 minute mark.) You herd them and shoot them with fire arrows or fire bombs as they get close to the walls. There are two walls in that same corridor you can break, they have a crack on them so they are easy to spot. One has 8 Petrified Dragon Bones, the other has two pieces of catarina armor.
Greatsword of Artorias from DS1 into DS2. The majestic greatsword is fun but I love the greatsword of Artorias's moveset. Plus scaling with everything would make it stupid broken in DS2😅 Another great video as always
Great vid once again Yaz, biggest numbers I've seen so far!!! To answer your question, the item that makes assasins in the Shades ruins visible is the Eye of the Priestess, which is found the Ivory King DLC on a corpse on a pedestal near the spot you've fought the witch red phantom (forgot her name)
The thing with the ghosts is a key you get in the dlc that makes them and all invisible things targetable. Would imagine the shaded woods ones as well.
Thank god your playing eldenring finally. Also please do separate vids, under an hour. Release them twice or once a week, whatever you can manage. Love you man, you'll do great 👍
I see yaz upload, I click. Yaz, dumb question, the two NPCs in Tseldora killed each other at the same time. Does a bonfire ascetic reset them? Or am I screwed for the den key & crit gauntlets? Your videos have allowed me to enjoy Ds2. Thanks again ❤️
Crypt Black Sword and the Roaring Halberd would be amazing in elden ring. I haven't loved a weapon the way I loved those. It would be cool if dark souls 2 had weapon arts though! ✌️
"DS2 is bad because i can't skip a whole area like a crazy mf to fight the boss because i'm so lazy to actually play the game and enjoy the difficulty 😠😠😠". Anyway, great content. I'm going to try this weapon in my next playthrough after i get the ivory king set. I'm still need 20 Loyce Souls to farm.
Big boy damage! Yeah, separate vids sounds like a plan, more content for us, more views for you, less time spent editing. You can even put raw footage of the playtrough with commentary and we will be happy.
DS2 Scholar of the First Sin is the best co-op experience i've ever had in an ARPG, much less dark souls game. Funny how in terms of sheer scale and content it is remarkably similar Elden Ring...
can anyone code a mod for DS2 where you already start with Maughlin dead and the Tseldora Armor in your inventory? cause it sure be a time save for this man
TLDR Yazmania is the goat. 🐐 Dark souls 2 was my first souls game and it made me fall in love with the franchise. Memes aside I really think it is objectively the best souls game and that PVP, man, can't beat it. Build diversity was on point in this one, wish they didn't fuck up dark the way they did after this one. The only time I didn't enjoy dark souls 2 was when I played it on PSNOW. It lagged so bad.
I'd bring the Red Iron Twinblade forward as I don't remember there being a Strength based twinblade, and the plane propeller is hilarious. Also farmed for this thing recently and learned the prisoner's chest armor boosts item discovery
Near the end you talked about farming Ascetics from Darklurker's zone, but you can do it and do soul farming from Giant Lord. Just too late to warrant?
@@Yazzmaniait’s actually one of the worst methods. Using a bonfire ascetic on the place unbeknownst it’ll reset every giant memory but not the actual area. You can fight giant lord for 500k souls and a ascetic at the boss room, then loot the other memories for 2 more ascetics. Or you can repeatedly use an ascetic at the Aldia keep first bonfire to loot the petrified hollow next to the giant basilisk for 2 bonfire ascetics, the hollow respawns unpetrified with each ascetic use so you don’t need to use a fragrant branch. However the Aldia method requires killing aslatiel each run
24:57 jesus! At first i thought it was you who got hit, it took me a second to realize that the bottom heath bar is for the boss. Kinda hard to wrap your head around this damage
lmao all I could say is get yourself the flynn's ring, ring of blades, reinforce it to max, brightbug and sacred oath, sorcery clutch ring as well, 50 STR/DEX and you'll be set for sure
I'd put the Farron Greatsword in DS2. Sliding around through Alonne Knights and then falling into lava, trying and failing to duck under Ivory King or Pursuer with it, ah, would be great fun.
It’s visually pretty simple but it’s also kinda sucky pve and kinda toxic in pvp. And that’s only bc of stun lock. Without stun lock the weapon would be trash overall
I love your channel. You show the fun potential of this game better than most people. I like how you're showing off all the weapons in various playthroughs giving DS2 the love it deserves. Wouldn't mind seeing other games either keep it up
For the first playthrough of ER defintely do multiple videos. Doesn't have to be a whole video for just like one dungeon obviously but I think you'll find a good way into splitting it up into a few parts. Then later on if you do videos in this sort of style where it's just about going for a specific build you can fit that all in one part.
Still had fun with it and many DLC bosses were too hard for me personally (Fume, Alonne, Blue Demon, double -dragons- tigers, Burnt King). I’m even astonished I passed Elana, Sinh and Gank fools with my sheety skills and melee build!
If i could bring 3 weapons from each game, if would be DS1; Swag Sword, Gravelord sword and Golem Axe (thought about Quelag sword but the other 3 are too good and unique) DS2 ; Blue Flame (sword catalyst is fun), Loyce sword (GS with straight sword moveset) and either Santiers or Yorgh soear because both are amazing and fun to use. Probably the hardest game to just pick 3 from since theres so many amazing and unique weapons. DS3; Nameless King Swordspear, paired fire knight UGS and dual great shields because they're unique. But i love Gael or Hollow Slayer GS more.
Bruh i have an idea. Use the Puzzling Stone Sword. IIRC it does NOT have an unique powerstance moveset, but the weapon itself is alredy badass enough, right? It has pathetic stats requirements and it's super light and fast. So even at low level is super usable. Ring of Blades + Flynn = OP
If anyone has the OG version for ps3(not SOTFS) if you go to Majula and go behind the world death count statue(if messages can still appear) can someone tell me if the message that says “visions of happiness” is still there?.. it’s my message and I wrote that the day my mother died..this was the only game she watched me and my brother beat and it holds a special place in my heart. I wrote it almost a decade ago Love you all❤️
I wish I had a PC so I could actually try PvP with you like you mentioned in the video. Or that I could try ds2’s PvP in general. Soul memory’s a bitch tho, and I’m nowhere near where I need to be for that on my main character.
Yet another amazing video, Yaz. I've been once again quite busy so I couldn't catch up on your videos but now I have some free time, and it looks like your content is still fire! Keep going Yaz!
