yeah we do. without the drums the song has no rythm, i hate accustic versions of songs because they sound so empty without the drums. drummers are the heart of the band

I'd actually have to disagree. Different studies say that the beat of a song is the first that most people get hooked on or listen to. Then the melody. So I would say most people realize how important drums are. At least most people I talk with after shows etc.

Agreed. I realized this at a broadway show I went to and couldn't stop watching the drummer slay down in the orchestra pit. It was one of my favorites parts of the show.

I watch Mulan at least 5 times a day, thanks to my daughter. As a drummer, I always imagined the this song would have been fun to play. Now I "see" I was right.... fantastic job!!!! Compliments on "transcribing" the song perfectly...well done!!!

Pretty good. There were a couple parts where the beat lost a little speed, but unless you listen for it, it's hard to catch. The drums definately add an element to the song that it sorely lacked in the film.

There have been more than a few attempts at a rock version of this song over the years, and none of them ever live up to your version. When I think of the metal cover I always wanted, I think of these drums. I just love it so much, you’ve ruined it for me 😂
