Wow! I was prepared to really hate this version, but they are fantastic. I was too quick to judge. Now, I want to hear more from them.

I’m Australian. The Seekers are renowned here. They pushed the Beatles off the number 1 spot in the Uk a couple of times, and the Beatles were at their peak at the time. The Seekers are so well known here that very few Australians attempt covers of their songs. I am very impressed with your vocal arrangements. One of the problems you have with Seekers material is that you don’t have anyone with the stratospheric high like their Keith Potger I love how you’ve accounted for that so many people wouldn’t notice there’s only 3 of you not 4 and no ones singing Del McCoury like high tenor harmony. The vocals sound full and rich and complete. Because of these factors, this is a very ambitious project, and you pull it off. In style! Well done!

This is the Seeker's song I chose for the funeral of my angel Siamese boy, Bodhi, who tragically died of lymphoma far too young at the age of two. Our Virginia Tech Vet did everything possible, short of chemo, to extend Bodhi's life. Unfortunately, even with the best veterinary care -- frequent pleural drains and dexamethasone -- he only made it for another 3 months. This beautiful song was a powerful healing force while mourning the devastation of losing Bodhi. I think Trifolkal does a great cover!
