Tom Springfield (Dusty's brother) wrote this semi-folk classic with its iconic 12-string opening riff and the Seekers memorably sang the hit version.
I continue to be delighted but astonished at all the kudos coming at me for this video. I just memorized the lyrics enough to be able to sing it without a lyric sheet in front of me, and worked out the guitar as I played it. (I did still botch one lyric, slightly.) So it wasn't that big a deal to me; I thought my performance adequate but nothing special. I guess one doesn't know one's own best work sometimes.
