A beautiful song from the movie 'A Star Is Born' staring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
I went to see this movie and just fell in love with it and with the soundtrack. This particular song had me in tears. I wanted to do a version, it's slightly different to the movie version but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

How have I missed this one. Only saw the film for the first time last night and as soon as I heard Lady Gaga singing it...I could just hear you all over it..not realising you'd already blown her version out of the water.....Bloody Brilliant..xx

Ms. Hawnt, I wish I was able to articulate this better than I am able; however, I will try my best.....AMAZING, simply amazing...YOU ARE AMAZING...!!!! Forgive me but I also noticed the top you were wearing has the words “Positive Vibes” on it. A friend recently passed from brain cancer, and a fund raiser had been held while he was battling this terrible illness. T-Shirts were sold that said “Positive Vibes Only” on them. As a tribute to him, I proudly wear this shirt often, and use it as my symbol for U Tube responses. I know he’s smiling in heaven!!! 😇 P.S. HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃

You've got a cool, unique voice. But this song demands some exquisite falsetto scalpel work, particularly in the first chorus and third choruses, which you didn't employ. Which is a shame, cause those segments truly elevate this song to a cut above every other power ballad out there.

That's fair enough but just because it's in the original doesn't mean it "demands" it. Rachael lifts this song in her own way and makes it unique. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

@@kamickatie huh? All i said was that she chose not to sing the most emotional, powerful parts of the song, which was disappointing. This song's emotional gravitas literally hinges on those first and third choruses, and if you don't nail those desperate, soulful and haunting falsetto notes, you lose much of what makes this song special.

Hi there, thank you for listening, I understand your point completely, it is always hard to know if doing a straight copy or putting your own spin on it will pay off for the fans of the orginal compositions. I am mindful of doing my own interpretation but do agree though the orginal is absolutely beautiful ❤

Yeah, i really enjoyed this but i definitely had my hopes up to hear the contrast between the fierce, almost angry verses, second chorus, and bridge, and the delicate, vulnerable first and third choruses. I was just disappointed not critical of your voice or tone which are really really nice to listen to.
