While exploring RU-vid tonight I came across this. I had never heard of this group. What a stellar work. Wow! This song lifted my spirits at the exact moment I needed uplifting. It's been a tough year and a half for all of us. And for me, the past few weeks has been especially trying and exhausting. So, I discovered this song, this group and I'm so grateful I did. Music can be soothing and healing. And I thank you for doing that for me.

"I'll See You in My Dreams" was written by Isham Jones, with lyrics by Gus Kahn, and was published in 1924. I like the composers of popular songs to get the credit, just as classical music composers do. Greetings from East Anglia in England.

The lead guitarist solos with two fingers, just as Django had to do because of his disability. Captures the exaggerated swing and intensity of Django's playing! I never would expect a modern player to do this.

My wife and I saw them on 11/6/2018 at Le Quecumber. Irene has a fantastic voice, smooth and silky. They played some Gypsy Jazz and Jazz standards and were very much enjoyed by all those there. I will definitely see them again.

This has to be one of the best jazz standards, Isham Jones wrote the music, Gus Kahn wrote the genius lyrics. Nice recording, great singing and the band is swinging like nobody's business!

Trying to lock in on this genre. Great background while I work. Pandora is firing blanks on most of these artists' names. Guess I'll stay here and find out who my favorites are. I never thought gypsy jazz + female vocalist would be so therapeutic.
