As someone that had their Amazon account get hacked (was done using malicious software installed onto my machine because I clicked something before realizing what it was) the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I had to call almost daily for almost 2 weeks to get everything straightened out and my money back. Now I have 2FA enabled wherever possible.

I’m just now starting to get traction with my channel and sponsorship offers. That sucks man but I’m glad you got it back. Thanks for letting Us know what to look out for.

So happy support worked with you dirve by downloads are a constant threat these days , sometimes opening emails with the right malware attached downloads the payload with just an email open. My advice to you would be to consider a paid mail service as I did when something similar happened to me proton mail has been so good with the email alias system etc. can disable remote content in emails as well till you decide the mails legit with most email providers just some ideas that helped my security with mails.

Luckily, they didn't use a password algorithm on a device that only is accessible by that device. I had a friend who lost their Facebook account that way and couldn't retrieve it. I'm glad you were more fortunate. Best wishes, Johnathan.
