I Lost Track of Time in a $6 Zombie City Scavenging Survival RPG - Night Raider 

Hey so the whole video I say the game is 5 bucks, that's because it's on sale. It'll go back up to 6 in a few weeks hence the disparity between the title and what I say in the video.

Thank you to Splattercat for recommending my game. I am the producer of this game. I'm the only one working on this game right now. I'm doing everything I can to make the game better. I tried my best to keep the updates at a high frequency. But right now I'm working on a big update for version 1.50, so it's going to be slow. Version 1.50 will add a new mission system and story to the game, as well as a large number of new firearms and accessories. Future updates are also planned to add character appearance changes, costume changes, and weapon appearance customization to the game. Since I was working on the game on my own, I had to devote all my time and energy to the development process, so I rarely checked messages, and I didn't know how to use DISCORD and RU-vid very well. I honestly have no idea how to promote my game and get people to play it. Instead of thinking about how to promote my game, I tend to spend my time and energy on making it better. So thank you Splattercat for playing my game, it's been a huge help to me, it's really hard being a solo developer. Since my English level is not high, I hope there is no deviation in the content I express.

I purchased this game as soon as the video ended. A VERY fun and pretty chill game to enjoy. Wouldn't have bought it without your crafting-from-storage seal of approval.

This is crazy, I literally read a random steam review on another game this morning and they mentioned that this game was great, so I checked out the page and the update consistency and it seemed good so I bought it, and then you put out this video! Crazy coincidence.

Was gutted to see this is not Steam Deck/controller compatible but admired the dev for responding so truthfully saying he just doesn't have the tech know how to make it work on anything other than kb+m. A lot of devs would blow smoke up your arse and say "they are working on it." Shame indeed. Hopefully one day one of these top down looter shooters is made with SD in mind and I'll jump on it.

Oh, this is a nice middle ground with fun twists compared to other games. Gonna wish this one at least, keep an eye on it. I do dig the almost 'Backpack Hero' style crafting where you can just see what you can make with stuff you find ahead of time.

This game is the best of extraction shooters honestly

Oh, good! You can carry more than an infant can in this game. Already far better than Zero Sievert. Also, seamless transition to interiors (which seem to be well-designed), and so far no anomalies that remain hidden behind trees until you step on them, instantly killing you. Imagine that.

This seems interesting, I like that all the recipes are unlocked at the start, but where the materials come from is what limits what you can make & when. The things that drives me off from most survival games is that every single item, crafting upgrade, & crafting station needs to be meticulously upgraded, with upgrades within upgrades. That just wears on me. This seems more my speed, more time playing the game, less time micro managing junk.

I get that extraction shooters are a genre, but this looks identical to Zero Sievert down to the hilariously low poly chibi blob of a character.

Not sure if bug but when you added armor plate to vest it removed all your armor, but did increase the max cap.

I want more extraction shooters set in a zombie apocalypse. The post-apocalyptic, wartorn, radioactive state setting is played out.

This needs to be multiplayer..at least can be played as 2 player coop..

To swap ammo type you holy the "Y" key and you can switch between what you're carrying

Zero Sievert feels like it's built around the shooting. With Night Raider, it feels like the shooting is more of a hurdle. You get no reward for taking down enemies (at least not early on). The "meat" of the game is running from one container to the next to loot them. It's a curious shift in focus that is hard to pin down to exact causes, but it resulted in me spending hundreds of hours on the former and getting bored after half an hour with the latter.

Nice, it's like Zero Sievert before they made that overcomplicated gunplay change and reintroduced all those bugs

The game does look pretty good for $6 but I have to question some of the things I saw in this video. In a post-apocalyptic zombie scenario, guns are not worth much but people will pay a lot for useless trophies and medals? Repairing your equipment after one mission costs $77,000? And how can you check 10 computers and not find one CPU?

Worth noting this game DOES NOT allow for the rebinding of keys. So if you're left handed, or have disabilities/injuries that preclude you from using the default layout, give this one a pass.

How can you even see anything? I couldn't figure out how to activate the helmet light or whatever it is you're supposed to do. Played the first map on vet with ZERO light. I can't keep doing this...

Was all on board until that dreaded equipment durability comment. I'm so over item durability as a mechanic in games, it just feels like a crutch to artificially extended playtime.

That loot system just killed it for me. Just look from 3:00 to 4:30.

Why the f*ck does this game have reticle bloom?

Everytime I see this game mechanic of waiting a few seconds to open a stash of loot I'm instantly turned off. I guess in this game it's to make you vulnerable to zombies while looting ? but what happens in reality is there's phases you fight and others you loot, and while looting you're just wasting your time looking at a boring progress bar.

This looks like a shameless ripoff of Zero Sievert. Are the developers chinese by chance?
