Good day! "Sills solo" I believe is referencing Beverly Sills who was an opera singer, and a solo song in an opera can be called an "aria" - pronounced 'ahh-ree-uh.

The la Brea tar pits is an area in los angeles where prehistoric animals were stuck and preserved in tar. Cool place right in the middle of los angeles

As far as I know aria is a piece of music meant for one singer in 'classical'music. As part of opera etc.

34:04 Regarding "at loose ends", I looked it up because I was curious lol. I guess it refers to "idle" sailors waiting to check for loose ends of rope on the boat. Therefore, "Idle" sailors are at the "loose ends" of the rope. "To be at a loose end means to have nothing to do. It is a nautical term, which refers to a time when a ship's captain would task idle sailors (i.e., those with nothing to do) with checking the ends of rigging ropes to ensure none had come loose."
