I think I remember ages ago there was a custom hearthstone card with almost the same text on it, and I loved that card because to me it really represented the hunter themes. Sniping shots and accuracy, which is kinda underrepresented next to the beast theme

Theres no way a ramp druid should ever lose to a quest hunter if they get to that point of the game. Should easily be able to armor out of range.

I love that Trump is back and that he is getting sponsored. I have no issues with data collection myself but I wonder if he were to reach out to Public if they would consider giving him a sponsor over Webull as they are competitors and Public has added "bonus" of not collecting users data and then sharing/selling it to hedge funds. Just wanna see my Mayor of Valuetown get as much value as he can :)

I like the curve you have built up since the release of the new expansion. Starting from the clunkier decks and showing the better and better. As I recall you projected this as the tier1 deck. Second comment for the algo. Barbed Nets Procs the Quest twice if it’s glowing, that’s pretty nuts. Even more reason to run Treasure Guard.

it's not just glowing you need each part of the spell to proc different parts of the quest, if you have 0/2 it give 1/2 but if you have 1/2 it finishes and gives 1/2 on the next step I'm not sure it's intended because of this but it's super good to take advantage of

I played this all of last standard when quest was a lower tier deck, feels great for it to be a legit deck now. All the parts really came together and Raj can do a silly amount of free burn.

@24:48 barbed nets can proc quest progress twice if you do it so that the second target hits for the next part of the quest, I've been running vicious slither just to proc it, makes completing quest by turn 5 even more consistent

also side note: if you do a f2p run i think quest hunter is a really good deck choice it's not hard to beat up all the pirate quest warrior spam in low ranks with it

interesting interaction with this deck is that if you play activated barbed nets on 1/2 on quest progress it gives you 2 steps instead of 1

The abyssal curses also trigger the quest progress,and it also works as a spell to refresh your hero power if you play it before it expires.Played against one abyssal curses warlock and he really helped me instead of killing me with the abyssal curses

I was playing with 2 Treasure Guard and Viper earlier it was working well. I had 2 Acolyte but they seem clunky. Drek’Thar seems spicy I’ll cut one for that.

Too bad that i choose vandar stormpike instead of drek'thar,and i really dont want to craft him just for one deck but it would be nice having him like you said with acolytes of pain,the only thing this deck lacks is good card draw,tracking,conch's call,furious howl and quick shot are not enough for consistent card draw.I never ended up with an empty hand to utilize quick shot,it's just there to proc the quest,furious howl works for at least 2 card draws sometimes,i also run the viper for that extra "1 mana draw a card",other than that the viper is useless in this deck

How does Piercing Shot and Divine Shields interact? It'll break the Divine Shield and hurt the enemy Hero for (6 - Minion Health) right? So if you Piercing Shot an Argent Squire with Divine Shield it will break Divine Shield and do 5 damage to enemy Hero?

i believe it does 5 dmg to the hero,dont really know why but it should do 6 in my opinion since it doesnt do any damage to the divine shield minion,just gets rid of it so excess damageg should be 6

Mailbox dancer works surprisingly well in my version of quest hunter. Also Harpoon gun is a must because it helps plan out quest completion more efficiently

High health minions, maybe? So it's harder to get the honorable kill? One-health minions would also prevent it, and the deck as shown otherwise lacks cycling spells that allowed for that seven-turn first victory.

I run the secrets package with ice trap and freezing trap cuz' I got no dust for Naz, I actually don't think I would be able to play this deck without ice trap and freezing trap since it makes things pretty annoying forcing them to go off curve

I also tried to run it at the beginning with the hero mactavish but it seems like a bad idea,only secret i run now is explosive trap,mactavish is still in the deck but he's like a dead card in this hunter quest deck,there are rare moments where he is good,if you need to get that 3dmg explosive shot but at that point if you are forced to play mactavish and change your hero power to summon a random animal companion you are already close to loosing the match.I can see him being good if you dont complete the second part of the quest before playing him so that you get his hero power to 0 too and then when you complete the quest,get infinite animal companions as long as you play spells but that's too slow

It's not an aggro deck, it's a burn/control deck. you control the board early, then use those spells to burn out late.

@@runtergerutscht4401 alright, say Switcheroo becomes popular and has a win rate that makes it a decent part of the meta game. The response is to side in some tech cards (Urchin spines for Quest Hunter). It then becomes something of a three way toss up between: Oh I didn’t draw my tech cards and the priest Switcheroo-ed, I loose, OR oh I drew my tech cards and the priest auto looses, OR I didn’t draw my tech cards and the priest mis drew their combo pieces, priest looses. If one person play Switcheroo Priest, someone is going to have a negative game experience.

@@chester1882 if you want to avoid negative game experiences I suggest you don't play Hearthstone. Someone always loses because they didn't draw the perfect card of because of bad rng. Doesn't mean Blizzard should nerf your ability to ruin your own day. If you build that deck, it's your fault if you're unhappy, not Blizzard's

Not true. You go face if you can but because most things you face are minion based aggro decks filling the board you are forced to aim at minions over the face to stay alive then instead of running out of resources like a normal burn deck you still burn down their face after having "wasted" a large chuck of your burn on minions.

Quest hunter is not a control deck. It's an aggressive burn deck that is forced to use it's burn on minions of more aggressive decks and still wins while normal burn decks would lose because they wasted their burn. You know kind of like how an aggro deck is ment to run out of resources but pirate warrior has infinite resources.

@@Kryptnyt Anduin priest, because it's priest, lacks direct damage spells for the most part but it does have access to a metric shitton of control tools. While the hero power is very similar the decks are built quite differently. If priest could they probably would build their Anduin deck as a pure burn deck too if they could.
