I think you should move your decor with the scarecrows over a little bit more, away from the door, or your flowers will end up getting squished. The pink flowers with the cone on top are perrenials they're known as cone flowers or blanket flowers. If you plant them in the ground they will come back again next year. I did my fall decorating last week. It's my favorite time of the year. Your porch looks lovely, and inviting, great job! ❤

Your porch looks so cozy and inviting. You do such a fantastic job decorating. It was fun seeing Tim good off in Dollar Tree. Willow and and Milo looked so sweet cuddled up with each other. Your dinner looked so delicious, as always. I use brown sugar, ketchup and a little yellow mustard for my glaze. I also use an electric hand mixer for creamed potatoes but you did it great with the potato masher. I like to add butter and brown sugar to my carrots to make them candied. If you have shredded cheese, you could put some in a small bowl for a topping for the Brussels sprouts. I also like to add butter to vegs while they are cooking in the pan to incorporate all that creamy buttery flavor. But, Valerie, you dont need my suggestions, us womenfolk have our own cooking preferences. I hope all your renovations go well. God Bless!

Dinner looks yummy, you must love doing dishes though.. I quit presentation years ago and served the plates from the stove top.. still do. Hate doing dishes even when I had a dishwasher. Now it's just 2 of us and it's paper plates and plastic cups even when the kids come home .v

Valerie I do my meatloaf the same except add diced green peppers Mashed potatoes same excepty secret I ingredient is heaping tablespoon mayo I'm 65 and grew up on em this way My kids loved still love em this way. I will try the meatloaf glaze. Its new to me Porch decorations are beautiful

I wish I could be there sitting outside with you. It is getting cold here in British Columbia, Canada. We have had frost a couple,e nights now but miraculously my flowers and a few veggies survived. We have fresh snow on the Rocky Mountains this morning. It has been a cold September but October is supposed to warm up a little but once November is here we get a hard frost and snow on the ground. Such fun to you and Tim out shopping - his choice of hats was hysterical! The porch turned out so pretty but the purple flowers - if they are echinacea - can be planted in the ground and will come back next year BUT be careful where you put them because they can be harmful to cats and dogs.
That Dollar Tree looks much bigger than the one I go to.I usually get my fav dishliquids I can't find at the regular stores and pot holders.I planted that purple cabbage around my mailbox post.I did manage to find some plastic and wood stick in the ground Halloween decorations.Your meal looked so good!!!
