I can’t get enough of her just wish it didn’t take so long to find her. One of the few women rappers out here with real talent and not just famous for showing her body everywhere like some of these rappers. She’s real talented beautiful and what a special soul❤❤❤
I found her because she did a feature with the Gorillaz but she has some real history. her concept albums are always bangers. Stillness in Wonderland is a little less polished than her latest but it's my favorite of her big albums to this day. The run from One in Rotation+Wide Awake to Poison Ivy is just plain the most listenable run of songs back to back in any album I have ever heard, not only are they all bangers they flow into each others and build on each other so amazingly, it's a joy to listen to
Absolutely agree with you, I love Stillness in Wonderland, and that song trio you mentioned I keep coming back to, such a well honed craft, Simz knows how to make excellent music 👑
She might not be recognised yet by BET but she just won best hip hop artist at the MOBOs (music of black origin) a British awards show. not female category just straight best artist. Well deserved 👏 🙌

On another note and in a similar way to Simz - I think you’d also love Ren. These two UK artists are the undisputed king and queen of innovative, original creative material at the moment in my opinion….
