I have depression and anxiety and this show gives me great comfort. I watched as a child and still do at 56. I even named my vintage trailer Lucy.

I miss Robert Osborne. And TMC has never been the same without him.

Desi Arnaz was so freaking handsome!

This made me feel so wonderful ; to see them so in love. As a kid I saw the reruns in the 60s. At 64, I have their collection on DVD And I know that everybody can recited all the lines. I do 😆 Rest in peace Lucy and Desi Happy holidays Stay safe Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

I just watched Lucie Arnaz talking about the last time Lucy and Desi reminisced and watched old Lucy episodes together when Desi was on the verge of passing away in 1986 but now it is wonderful seeing them as a younger couple deeply in love not knowing how successful their venture would be. Lucy actually thought the show would last maybe one year. HA!!

This so interesting!! Normally when I see “old school” Hollywood stars, they looked so much older than their actual age. Lucy looks so young and fresh for 40!

Note at the very beginning of studio testing.. Lucille Ball looked AMAZING and so beautiful even without all the extra makeup. Such a dynamic, brilliant and loving partnership ❤ We all love Lucy and Desi.

No question about it! Lucy & Desi were absolutely in love with one another. You can see it in this hair/makeup video - their chemistry is overwhelming! It must have been a very exciting time for them with a new show, a new baby, and the opportunity to finally work together! Glad to see this film…..I didn’t know it existed. Thank you!!

I've been watching since a little girl, then after school every day, and now, in my 60s, I still watch it every time it comes on. Still love it so much and always will.

Honestly, I loved the repeated clothes. Seemed more realistic, especially on Ethel. It's a pet peeve of mine when t.v. shows have the stars wear an outfit only once.

They both loved and respected each other’s skill, talent and how they their energy between them was so wonderful! He really broke her heart, she wouldn’t have divorced him if he could’ve toned down his partying ways. Some people aren’t meant for marriage, but I know he loved her immensely! Lucy was a very hardworking person and a think pretty tough at times. Anyway we’re all grateful for them and the whole show! I always watch it when I’m flipping channels.🤩😍🌈

They’re such a beautiful couple. I loved the show, I was seven when it began. And I was broken hearted when they divorced. I remember my Mom and Dad having a big argument over watching I Love Lucy or Gunsmoke (I think). Must have been the only time my Dad won. No problem for my Mom, since everyone watched it she just went to a neighbors house and joined them. My favorite show was the Vitameatavegetarian commercial.🤣

Lucy helped define the 1950s and 1960s. Hollywood hadnt seen a Lucille (an actress who owned and managed a studio) since Mary Pickford in the era of Silent Movies. People always say Lucille was sweet and loving but tough, controlling, a taskmaster. Let me tell you that if you knew someone who lived thru the 1930s depression, someone who knew death and poverty and hunger then there were Lucille's all over the country. Lucille was much more identifiable than we think of today. There were actresses and TV shows I liked better but as I get older...I grow to appreciate her and Desi so much more.

What a beautiful couple. I have been watching I Love Lucy since childhood. I can never get tired of them. Lucy was madly in love with him. Who wouldn’t be? He was handsome 😍

This was delightful to watch! Their love and chemistry is so obvious! Despite the problems they had in their marriage I think that both of those qualities remained between them throughout their lives.

I binge watched every season recently so this was a real treat, thank you! My grandmother told me that during the first run of the show, everyone watched when I Love Lucy was on. And anyone with a TV could expect visitors!

We miss you Robert Osborne. They have four people over on TCM that have no clue. A young woman from Australia who talks about movies from the 40s and 50s. What a joke. They have this other bore with film noir. Soooooo boring, They try to keep racism going with movies that show black people at a time when racism in films took place. But there are soooooo many movies that show black people as just people in a positive and wonderful way. Haven’t seen those yet. You had a wonderful way of speaking to and about people in the movies that was riveting. We miss you Mr. Osborne RIP.

She was such a genius at facial expressions

I just watched “Being the Ricardo’s” and was horrified by Nicole Kidman’s performance. Lucy was known for her wildly expressive face and Kidman’s face was a frozen mask, incapable of movement. I heard she was chosen primarily because they thought her name would bring in $, but that strategy backfired.

It's amazing back in the Golden Age of Hollywood that once an actress turned 40 years old, her career was officially over. Stating that no one wants to see an older woman staring in a film. Which is why Lucille Balls career was over when she turned 40. Of course, that's ridiculous and thankfully things have changed since then, and it really worked for the better for Lucy. But who would have cared if she was 40 years old? In this footage, she looked young and gorgeous. She could have passed for a woman in her late 20's. Desi as well.
