I was looking for videos for English pronunciation and I found "I love Lucy"... I was born in the 90s, I am Colombian, and I love this show. I am watching all the seasons and what can I say..? This is one of the best things I have ever seen ❣
I was also born in the 90s and I love Lucy is my favorite tv show :) Do you have any recommendations for good Spanish speaking shoes? I am interested in watching some shows in Spanish as well
You can never go wrong with 1950s and 60s American TV shows, like Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show. They were clean shows and very funny. Lucy was especially known for having clean shows without any vulgarity or anything like that. A lot of today's shows are garbage. I don't even watch modern TV except for the "Got Talent" type of shows like America's Got Talent.
Wow! Well good for you! Everyone is learning English these days. I was born in 1987 and I loved watching this show when I had a sick day or during the summers off from school. True American sit-com that will always be accurate and true (comedy wise) and will stand the test of time.
ALL OF THEM EVERY LAST ONE FROM LUCILLE BALL, DESI ARNAZ, VIVIAN VANCE & WILLIAM "BILL" FRAWLEY...THEY WERE THE RICARDOS AND THE MERTZ. I COULDNT IMAGINE ANYONE ELSE IN THESE ROLES. THEY BROUGHT THE FUNNY HUNNY!
I always find it funny when Lucy smokes on I Love Lucy. In old movies and TV shows usually it was always the bad guys who smoked, if you saw a man smoking or a woman smoking in those old shows you always knew they were the bad guys! And usually when it was a woman she was usually a gun moll or hooker.
Yeah, in a recent clip, I noticed Ricky and Lucky's door is labeled 3D. In this clip, their door seems blank, and Fred and Ethel's door looks like 3B. So also strange that the 3 indicates the third floor, yet they went downstairs to Fred and Ethel's, so they can't both be on the third floor.
That was his personality in real life. He was an alcoholic and that made it hard for him to find work. Dezi Arnez(Ricky) Was the only one who would give him a job.
