I miss Ramly burgers. Back in the high school and college years around 20+ years ago, an original burger was around RM1 or RM1.20. Special would add another $0.50. I used to get 2 at the same time :D it’s hilarious that they played your video. Reminds me of the time I was with my coworker from US eating satay at a stall in Johor, and they stall owner took pictures of them and posted it on their Facebook page to promote their business. I am thinking Five Guys Burger is like the Ramly burger in US except that they are way more expensive.

I've been working in Sgpore since lockdown & Ramly burger is the first food that I buy after the border reopening & I almost cried by the roadside eating eat it. Nothin beats home land food 😭

ramly burger basically our version of McDonald ,just instead of being a high restaurant/all over the world,its just being the malaysian market and target from the start to being a street food for envision by the founder itself..

When I was a university student, I always dinner with Ramily Burger. That time we still can get RM2 for basic burger and if want the special one, the price start from RM2.80. Anyway Saki san, wish to meet you at annual Bon Odori festival in Panasonic Stadium Shah Alam Selangor on 17 July 2022.

Delicious burger. One is never enough. You can asked for less sauce, or no black pepper sauce like me because I cannot tolerate too much black pepper. Do try egg benjo - only egg.

For those that dont like too many sauces like me, you can ask for "kurang sos" (less sauce) for example: Burger Daging special, Taknak sos cili (no chili sauce), kurang black peper sos. (less black peper sauce). because i prefer my burger not drowning ^^ P.S. I like the sailor outfit, you look Kawaii. reminds me of my childhood anime Sailor Moon 😆

What they told you was exactly right. You are so brave 👍 and i would like to recommend you to try some local food like nasi lemak , nasi dagang , nasi lauk and of course you can find delicious chinese food and some Thai food as well. Especially in Kelantan the Thai food are really 👍.

❤❤Very nice video, Saki-chan! It is an open secret that one Ramly burger is just not enough. You need to get at least two. Or maybe one burger and one hot dog. I like making Ramly burger at home but of course not the same with the stall because they use really good seasoning. Yes you are brave, and no you are not stupid. Back in 1999, the normal burger costs like rm1.20-rm1.50 only, special burger rm1.80-rm2.00, if i buy with rm10, can get 9-10 burgers. Now, u can get only 3-4 burgers, sometimes only 2 burgers with rm10. Our monies is shrinking in value, wages in the other hand, much or less stay the same. Btw, i love Ramly burger as well, sometimes it's hard to find in supermarket these days. Demand>Supply.

its basic and founder our local type of burger. initially those days people skeptical with fast food from western. but when ramly burger start did their own process and sale through burger stall, Malaysians now love to eat burger. Ramly Burger nowadays only focus on manufacturing. Everyone may start their own burger stall and order stock from wholesale or suppliers. Even we can do our own with buy the meat, bread, mayonnaise, source from any grocery store.

Saki Chan , Tomorrow is a Chinese traditional festival ， you can try a tradisional food which call "Bak Zhang 粽子" , although it's no as tasty as nasi lemak , but i think it's a good try !

its nice to see u try out our trademark street food..but to be fair,each street vendor tastes differently.. so if u like this one,maybe next is better/kinda ok..regardless,there's so many ways in term of preparing the ramly burger.. if you come by a new stall,just try it out..thats i think what make this burger special,so many variable taste/kind for each stall to made it unlike Mcd/KFC that just the same for each outlet..

The stall that usually found everywhere is not under Ramly 100%. That's what Ramly wanted, they just produce the patty. The bun is from other small industry sometimes. The sauce and mayonnaise also usually from other brand. Different stall usually have their own style of making the burger. Back then when the burger is still RM3 and sometimes can be at RM2.80... I tried my best to not eat it everyday. Once eat, tommorow will have the urge to eat it too, if not burger then benjo😅. Also some stall the mayonnaise and the sauce are like flood😂. But I love that.

saki pick the right choice! you could also ask them to add extra and fry the onions for you, most stalls dont have Kicap(the spray) and seasoning powder so if they do make sure to get them to put extra!

The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. 👍🏻 They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.

When i was kid, regular non cheese and omelet Ramly Burger just Rm1 to Rm1.20 it was 1995, now price almost 4 time, RM4 just regular, and special with cheese and Omelet/eggs Rm6. in 1995-1997 it just only RM2 ONLY.

From the video u showed, the price is slightly higher than normal....there are many cheap and delicious ones....there are many ramlee burger stalls, but they are each uniquely different from each other...depends on the cook.....
