Payday 3 Beta PC Gameplay / Playthrough
Finally I had a day off and enough time to learn all the new mechanics of Payday 3. It feels way more challenging at least without any stealth perks but I love a good challenge and Payday 3 is giving me exactly that :)
This is the Bank heist from the Beta of Payday 3 called "No Rest for the Wicked" and I played it on the highest difficulty Overkill solo stealth.

I like that guards actually do their job in a realistic manner rather than immediately going trigger-happy with the set chance of alerting the entire map like they did in Payday 2

They actually do their job, at least the first guy lol First time detection the guard tells you to stop and try to arrest you, but the second is always "shoot first, questions later"

@@VocalsFan for performance reasons, NPCs will probably check for a "root" object in the body and if they see that they become alerted or investigate whatever, point is you have to know where that "root" object is located in the npc model. Just stash your corpses in areas NPCs don't enter normally, like camera room or broom closet or smth

@@powreful4972 beta only allows for connecting to their servers to play, highly think it's gonna be the same on release. Altrough adding p2p/listen server is an easy task and doesn't require any code changes (or if it does, then just running a local LAN server for singleplayer/private matches and connect the client to it's own server would do the trick aswell :troll:) Regardless, game running on servers isn't a that big of deal since it's multiplayer game and i guess we can't change their minds anyway lol

Surely Payday 3 wanted you to learn the mechanics and AI behaviour even more than Payday 2. In Payday 2, the AI was designed so bad that we can abuse their weakness by BunnyHop techs which cause the detection cant react that fast, thus we can run past guards without being detected. On Payday 3, they have more FoV and can detect sound from running which makes them suspicious and start patrolling around the source until clear. If the guard detects you and detain you, that doesnt mean your stealth automatically broken, you still have final warning before Guards sound the alarm and enemies will arrive shortly. I wanted to play Beta Test, but I dont have the luck because most players who played this one is from Veterans and long-time dedicated Payday players. I already Pre-ordered and I just wait them until release date for now.

I understand the sprint being in for when your in a pickle and the crouch for when you need to sneak but the jump has no use unless its through windows in which it actually makes it harder.

It's good to see that it's still PD2 in core, not so drastically changed. Cameras still don't see you as far as you crouch, bag moving is repetitive and music is great. But seriously - nice to see those details like mini cameras, rather avoiding guards than killing them and losing a pager, or simply guards not shooting you on sight but removing you from private area. Great video!

@@captain3413 Bro fr, I don't like that there isn't any interaction animation anywhere except for a few with the phones and so. They really need to put on more and more animations to difference a little from the Payday 2 we all know and to look a little more modern for today's standard

@@Leire788 i do like that they prioritized the game playing nice rather than looking nice, feel like modern games focus way too much on visuals before making the game actually fun. but yeah, maybe down the line they add more animations, but the game looks like a smoother version of payday2, which i'll take any day of the week. i really hope this game comes out good.

And I feel Payday can have a lot of amazing and extra cool animations in so many ways and objectives, that's why I really would love for the future to have more animations, but, from what it is now... is quite amazing ngl

If we were allowed to take the mask off and put it back on at will then you walking out in the open to the van would've been more realistic but overall i am noticing a major improvement from payday 2. The new features i love the most are 1. Moving civies with our hands 2. Being able to throw a camera whereever we need. 3. Guards no longer call the cops immediately and escort you outside instead. Big improvements indeed.

Congrats on the hard-earned day off aagin and welcome back! It's good to see that civilians being easier to control and move around in PD3 Good to see a run with less civilian casualties (Still a lot but well) Didn't know that AI teammates without masks can also move bags Here's another trick You can move 2 civilians as once by having one as human shield and the other one to follow you

Yeah, I tried to move the civs in that room many times but the guard above and the lead guard makes it very hard and I don't want to make the run even longer.

the fact that when i get into a heist in this and almost everyone collectively agrees just to try stealth at the start cuz why not, is such a good feeling, and almost everytime we successfully do the heist stealth, and its actually fun to do so, the loud is great and all, but i do believe that the stealth will be where its at in this game, and this is coming from someone who used to exclusively play loud on payday 2 lol

@@stevenzwiesler8085 in payday 2 it was hard to do that because most people didn't make hybrid stealth and loud builds simply because it wasn't viable. You either had to go full stealth or full loud. What I love about Payday 3 is that the devs knew about this problem and removed concealment entirely. This way, you can make a stealth build but if you ever get caught, going loud isn't so detrimental anymore. Less inta-restarts :)

@@AlFredo-sx2yy The detection is faster and the movement speed a bit slower. Also you can't mark guards and see them through walls and that makes stealth way harder ^^

And I don't complain about the speed LOL and again I don't talk about casing mode. Being slow makes stealth harder (with mask!) ...and that's NOT a complain ;)

I think they should change that there is a certain amount of time you can get caught in EACH INVIDUAL guard before they call the alarm, instead of just collectively think the same thing. Or they just radio eachother what happened and happens as you say

@@M0rtifer I think there is a bug in the resume after the end of the mission, at 20:38 = It's write 2 time the line about the "7 civilians killed", and the amount of money deduced isn't the same, as only the second negative line is counted in the total Payout... 🤔

Game looks amazing. Those micro cams are so cool and I'm definitely going to be using those, especially knowing now you can attach them to people. Meat shield is also an amazing feature and I plan on trying to use a Dozer as a meat shield

They probably should do a punishment for multiple compromises as undisguised guy in the private area, like arresting you or call the police. Because it looks ridiculous when you can get caught by the same guard and he is like "Oh well, you little criminal, let me lead you to the public area, beause it's not suspicious that you are sneaking around like you planning something illegal". They also need change the system of dye packs. Like, this is impossible to disarm all of them in solo. Can't wait for your stealth gameplay on release of payday3 =)

This is older build, final game will have limit on escorts since majority of this map is private area NOT secure area, thus you can easily cheese detection and even if you get spotted you get to walk free and get back into public area unless you we're masked up.

I would like to know more about this new interaction with dyepacks.... aren't you "punished" for picking up a money bag when its "dirty/marked" with this dyepack?? for example, if you secure one dyed money bag you will lose 70% value of this loot? Thank you. I don't know the details but you clearly get less money or value for the dyed money bags. But the are still worth something so I'll take them to have enough for the objective.

ich sags wies ist: Ich freue mich schon richtig auf den PayDay 3 Content von dir. Frischer Wind, sicherlich vieles zu lernen und vor allem ein bisher gar nicht mal so schlechtes Spiel. Wenn dann noch der UE5 Port von PD3 gut wird, wird das ganze richtig wild und bringt ja vielleicht noch mehr neues mit sich. So oder so: Hut ab, das Ganze jetzt schon und "nur" mit Level 22 im stealth geschafft zu haben.

Danke :) Leider konnte ich keine echten stealth skills freischalten aber es war zum Glück auch ohne die machbar. Ich bin jedenfalls gehyped für den Release 😁

Crazy that the civvies you tied up never ran off after you left them alone for so long. every time I try to stealth it I always get caught randomly by an alarm going off as I walk the bank manager to the vault because as soon as I walk away from any tied civilians they run for help.

That's strange. They should only run away, if they are not tied or got untied by a guard.

If you pick them up to move them you have to re-tie them afterwards. I'd say that's your issue. Check for the cable tie on their back.

I'm hyped for this game! Just the level of details in the enviroment is insane. The graffiti, billboards, stores, and stuff everywhere to interact with, outside of the objective. And this is just an old beta build.
