I LOVE THE SPIDER-MAN PS4 SUITS | How Insomniac nails the Spider-Man Redesign 

The suit designs feel so realistic as also practical yet feels like it makes justice to its comic versions.

Seeing close ups of the Insomniac Spider-Man suits is sooo satisfying, the textures are perfect...

You got to hand it to insomniac games! They did an absolutely *spectacular job* with all of these suits!

My one gripe with insomniac's take on some of the suits in the base game is the reuse of the advanced suit/classic lenses. Those lenses just don't work for every suit and lead to a lack of variation in the look of each mask. Other than that I think they did a great job on the suits.

1. If you have suits you like from Insomniac that you couldn't cover here, then do a longer version or a part 2. 2. Has no one ever noticed that Insomniac's Advanced suits are brighter-colored versions of the Superior Spider Man suit? 3. The classic Iron Spider suit from Insomniac is also inspired by the Iron Spider suit from Disney XD's Ultimate Spider Man.

The ONLY design off the top of my head that looks WEIRD is the 2099 suit...does that LOOK like unstable molecules...to ANYONE!?😭 Beenox got Insomniac BEAT with that one, the added spider on the back and the glow pulse...CHEF'S KISS👌💯

Insomniac's take on big time stealth was and still is amazing I was hoping to see it in it's red-orange or blue neon colored variants like I saw before in other comic panels

I grown to love all the suits. Just high quality stuff and they all look great in picture mode

the designers have such an amazing attention to details and so much knowledge of fabrics and how they pair. they’re ALL pretty much perfect and smooth to look at, for what they’re going for. Not not be a first choice but they NEVER look bad.

I also love how you can see the seams and how the costume connects on certain suits Big Time, you can see where the invisible tech connects and is sewn to the fiber Classic Iron Spider you can see where the plates and armor meet up via the lines and arc reactor lights Classic suit you can see where peter stitches the outfit on the legs and arms Spidey Armor Mk 1 you can see the unarmored parts have a chainmail material so he's not completely exposed

I wish the Iron Spider suit was the MCU one. It even looks like iron Man’s nanotech suits.

I wished they did this with the villains designs too, but those were mostly redesigned

The suits were a great highlight, hope that the next game has more suits and maybe fix some of the hated ones

Also about the fabrics/textures, you are absolutely right. I love how detailed they are in texture and it just makes you want to look at them up close. I can’t wait to see how freaking good those look in the next game, especially textures that will be optimized for the ps5. Can’t wait.

something im surprised no none is talking abt is that on the insoms version of the iron spider suit, if you look at his collarbone area, its basically the mk 50 stark suit from infinity war, and i think thats so cool, it might not be exactly the same, but its close enough where i find it a nice detail

One suit that i felt was a step back from previous iterations is the 2099 suit. I much prefer the Shattered Dimensions/Edge of Time version of it. The blue pulse that the suit emanates, the back spider logo and the microchip texture of the suit looks alot cooler and futuristic than Insomniac's version.

The fact that the iron spider has grey bits makes it better considering how its an iron man suit

Some people think the comic suits don’t do them too much justice. I get why. But I like them still. Someone made an iron spider suit mod recently and it does do good at being more simple than the actual game suit, but I like either.

I mean you say there's specific fabrics for each suit but it's actually on a few pattern textures. Zoom ALL the way in and you'll see. Makes it even more impressive how they make it all look so different

I find John Romita jr suit in Jms Run Practical soooo real man, inspires me to make a suit, like how wrinkles are shown, it gets torn part, it actually feels like a cloth because there are many scenes where he is like sleeping with the mask but there is no shirt, there is so many things that makes it feels real man damn

I agree with you about adding to a costume's design instead of reimagining it, I'm not a comic book reader but I really like comic book super hero costumes, they're so full of personality and that's what I loved the most on insomniac's suits, you don't need to resign the entire costume to make it look real, the only thing you end up doing is possibly alienating the comic book fan that wanted to see his favorite suit on a movie I remember when I saw the homecoming iron spider suit, it took me 2 minutes to actually realize that was supposed to be the iron spider, and I was like "oh, well, that's cool, I suppose, it's the iron spider" but deep down I was "but the comic book design was so sick man...."

My top three from this game is ben riley's hoodie suit , tasm and mcu ( 1st one). Ben riley's suit made me want to check him out. Now I'm a huge fan.

There is this figure line called hot toys, they make premium 1/6 figures and the clothes are Made of actual soft materials. They made a PS4 Spiderman line with many suits and its such a thing of beauty to see the excellent design in real life (doll size tho)

I like the idea that the 'MCU' Iron Spider suit is actually Peter trying to retrofit the 'Classic' Iron Spider Armor technology into his normal color scheme. A way to use the technological advancements Tony gave him in a way that still _looks_ like Spider-Man at a glance, instead of Iron Man Jr.

I prefer Spider-Man suits that allow my eyes to go 100mph all over the suit without too many line/seam speed bumps (think the classic, amazing, and webbed suits). Also, one thing I love about all the suits is how they've adapted them to this universe's Peter Parker (in terms of build). I see mods for the movie-accurate versions of suits, and I'd personally find it jarring to run around in the body of Andrew Garfield, while also sounding like a shinobi from the hidden leaf village😬.

I would like to address something about the iron spider suit (not the mcu one) it’s most likely like an iron man armor styled suit because it’s from the ultimate Spider-Man TV series that’s the series where the iron spider suit was literally an iron man styled suit it (another hint that it’s from the show is the repulsors and rocket boots that was from the TV show only not the comics)

What’s yo opinion on Spider-Man 2099’s new look in Across the Spider-Verse? I think it looks amazing. It kinda loses the point of it being a day of the dead costume, but it makes for an awesome looking futuristic Spider-Man. The logo looks both like a skull and spider much clearer than the original did in my opinion.
