Bro…. I just gotta say. Your videos are awesome man. Appreciate how real you are in your videos. You are funny as hell without trying too hard which is what a lot of RU-vidrs lack. Been a fan for a while and I can honestly say that you are very important to the drum community. Keep the hustle going man!! You are awesome bro!! 🤙
Definitely you convince me, sadly I have no money to buy it. Also love the Earthworks drum kit and how your basement looks, good job man (so beautiful the wood details and the gray paint).
If you want to use this mic through your usb interface. You can just get a 3.5mm aux jack to XLR and plug it into the mic and direct interface. Great videos keep up the amazing content. I especially love your editing. 😊
Recording via your interface and the USB mic simultaneously is fairly easy on a mac. Just open your Audio-Midi-Setup app, create a new main audio device (don't know how it's called exactly in english, just click "+") and define both your interface and the USB mic as audio inputs + turn on the drift correction. Know you can select this "virtual grouped" interface like a regular audio device in any DAW or whatever.
Hey Brandon, love the videos, keep doing what you're doing! You can configure multiple input sources in 'audio midi setup' (a utility application built in for Macs) so you can record both the podcast mic swell as an interface, hope that helps!
@@BrandonScottDrums I meant to add, here's a link to a Roland page on the setup process 🙌 rolandcorp.com.au/blog/how-to-integrate-multiple-devices-on-your-mac
It might not be the most elegant solution but, if you want to use the mic together with the interface, run a cable from the headphone jack on the mic to an interface input.
Sorry Brandon, love the videos but my finger is slowly edging towards the unsubscribe button. Please can you make some new tutorial videos soon so that can't happen. Gracias.
Hey! Appreciate the feedback but this isn’t really a “tutorial” channel. I know the drum lessons are probably what people want but they aren’t the most fun or rewarding for me to make. That’s why I’ve been doing the “What to Practice” series just to show how drummers ACTUALLY learn instead of pretending like I’m the master of this paradiddle lick and now I’m gonna teach you. It doesn’t feel genuine to me. If you want constant drum lessons only, check out Mike Johnston! 👌🏼
If you want one for your audio interface, you have the xlr version (named icon pro). It's still the best USB mic but over 2 times the price of the most expensive USB mics, like the sE electronics Neom. The new tendency seems to propose mics with a double USB/XLR connection, and at this price, it would have been cool. If I had one, I would also buy a better quality USB cable than the one provided.
