the lyric was written as "it's there" but Sean Ryder literally couldn't say "there", so "Dare" was born, they just rolled with it :)

My favourite part of this song is that a while ago The Gorillaz had an interactive game/tour of their compound and this song played in the up elevator and said "it's coming up" repeatedly like the song but when you got to the floor it said "it's there".

The Gorillaz is a virtual band, created by Damon Albarn (the musician) and Jamie Hewlett (the artist who drew the characters). Each character has it's own story which is expanded upon in the albums. A really dope concept and a really dope Band. You should give a listen to November has come by the Gorillaz BTW. 🔥

Love the way you interact with you subs - I wonder if anyone has mentioned that they actually did a concert alongside this album that had no humans on stage, but they did have the characters you're seeing on stage, in 3d! It was way beyond its years! I think it was hard to do though, so, one time thing... Maybe!? Their rock band Blur, goes from silly, though cool songs... Like - 'Boys and girls, Country house, and Park life'... Then to beautiful, softer songs like - 'There's no other way, The universal , No distance left to run' which can have me in tears, but thats just me :o)

Its really hard to pick a bad Gorillaz song but i bet you'd love Strobelite, Dirty Harry, 19-2000, Stylo, Humility, Tranz, DoYaThing, Tomorrow comes Today. Literally all of their music is good and its all different genres. This band is a crazy good. I strongly suggest you just listen to them on your own time as well. You don't have to react to all of their songs and it really is great music.

Awesome sauce, I knew you'd dig that one 😆 You'll only see the faces of people they collaborate with musically, such as Shaun Ryder (lead singer of The Happy Mondays) in this one. Thats because the idea behind the Gorillaz is that its a 'virtual band'. Its a collaboration between lead singer, Damon Albarn (lead singer of Blur) and the artist Jamie Hewlett. The cartoon characters ARE the band members visually. When they played concerts, there were large inflatable types of puppets on stage I think I recall 🤔 Amazing ideas and music 👌🧡
