Nitpick from me but I think the play animation on Carress is underwhelming... For such a colorful and rainbowey card you just get a little firework when you play it... I was expected a lot more honestly

I’m down to see how the tourist plays out. But if it becomes the only expansion to do so it feels very difficult to stand by because there’s only 10 cards you can access from another class am I right ? And just the one class at that

I think the six damage to the face might work with shudderblock? It works with kalimos, which I believe also says deal six to face?

Carress is the coolest card in the expansion. That effect is so creative and dynamic.

im sure that for half of every expansion the design philosophy is "lets have Mark have some fun with this" instead of just good, playable cards.

Frosty Décor is just worse than the other shaman spells that summon minions with taunt in wild.

It's probably my meme dream, but Shaman now has a ton of cards that create boards. Razzle-Dazzler, Pack the House, and Shudderblock + Growfin are all solid big boards. There's even the new neutral Gorgonzormu. Wish Upon a Star also pairs nicely. With all the different control tools for Shaman out there, it seems like a mid-late game Shaman deck could be forming. I'll 100% be experimenting with something even if it's bad!

I think control / tempo shaman is going to be insane, if agro decks isnt too crazy. With some return to hand effects it's gona be really fun. Sad there isnt Target draw fo the legendary

I can totally see Carress to be in Control/Reno DK. DK has only access to Shadow, Frost and maybe Holy but those gives you some juicy control options from Carress. Razzle-Dazzler is not really that big of a deal for Shaman and DK. DK lacks the spell shools so the synergy with Buttons dont matter that much and I dont know if 3 random 5mana minions and a 4/4 is good enough.

the "draw 2 cards" i can bet is only a "not use it shuddelwork" block thing. Also that you dont can play it in the infinity shuddelwork deck. Edit: I see already thati make a misstake. I was thinking the "draw 2 cards" effect is his "basic" effect and the second effect is the one that happen depent on the speel school. But this is the arcane effect.

Razzle Dazzler could be okay. While big stat bombs aren't the end-all-be-all these days, it's still going to be a significant amount of power and can come down 3 turns before Reno is playable to poof it away. Also, most 5 drops these days actually have things like Rush or some Deathrattle for extra value. Siren Song... I can see it almost always giving one of the crappy Holy spells like Spotlight, Inventor's Aura or Boogie Down that your deck just can't use... Legendary feels very similar to Lady Naz'jar with the whole "Transform based on spells cast". Though it feels more reliant on generating random spells given that out of the 3 schools that Shaman typically has access to (Fire, Nature, Frost) their effect seems underwhelming outside of Fire. I suppose a DK could use Frost to activate their freeze synergy... P.s. I'm sad that we didn't get a new Moorabi as the Shaman Legendary, especially with the aforementioned Frost DK and Freeze synergies it contains...

7 mana: summon a random 5 cost minion already looks scary. If i just cast 2 other spell schools, i got a board of a 7 drop and three other 5 drops!

Idea. One mana choose 2 destroy your opponents quest,location or secret

Feel for the legendary you'll have to consistently get a shadow/fel spell with it to make it worth it, the other effects vary from ok to garbage (heal 6)

Frost Decor is a really good card.

Too bad you can't use the fire spell payoff for Carress with Shudderblock

Cabaretti is fantastic, but the 7 mana card is like the big mage spell, and I don’t think it will be good enough to play full rainbow like with sif. Shaman needs something cost efficient that scales with spells schools like their naga from sunken city or something that scales strong into late game like sif.

Im ngl razzle dazzle is kinda nuts, people played pack the house for a little on standard and that card was far worse

Absolutely hate this archetype for Shaman. Shaman needs a lot of help and these are all just "decent" cards but with no clear win-con route.

So the problem I see with this reveal..... Why is shaman getting good mage cards while mage is getting consistent crap.

Carress in DK is almost exclusively just freeze and removal 💀 Blizzard didn’t give shaman any spells with spell schools DK didn’t already have Buttons is unplayable and the shaman cards kinda suck, hardly any synergies worth playing
