I had a art teacher when I went to junior college for the first time, I'd say she was like Marry Poppins with a new Yorker accent she was both strict, stern but also cool and sweet when you got to know her.
I had a teacher JUST like this. Everyone absolutely hated her just for giving them good advice 😂 she was also quite strict and matched basically everything you said.
I’ve been in a a private school for both elementary and high school and I really liked the 2 teachers from elementary and one from high school (we had her for like 4 months). But everyone didn’t really like being taught art in my class (except for like high school) and I never really understood why. But then you brought up the fact that you drew since you were 10 and I’ve been drawing since I could remember, I keep forgetting that most people don’t like art class because they get self conscious or feel out of place when surrounded by students who do art even when they are being cheered on they still deny they’re good. I honestly get really mad when my classmates talked crap about art class or the teachers but I got to remember that they’re being shits because they are probably being self conscious about their skill. I wish kids knew they don’t have to be good at art to be an artist and that we should be giving some respect towards art teachers just like we would for any other teacher.
I had a bag of ice cubes placed on my chest during this entire video just to prevent my heart from melting by the radiating wholesomeness and loveliness. I’m so glad that you had met a teacher as wonderful as Sir Jeffrey, and that he had met a student as wonderful as you. It made my day❤️
Samee, theres nothing wrong over that icecream, sometimes simple details are the best! Btw pls make more videos! Ur art and whole video styles are freakin awesome and fuun!
I can really relate to this lol, I liked a bunch of teachers nobody like or even everyone hated. And I even was their friend! I even remember I used to like one that my friends hated the most and when they where angry about him I just nodded or stayed silent... It was preeeeetty weird and still is.
A lot of people hated my English teacher in highschool but one day she learned I was just starting to get into magic the gathering, and she asked me what type of deck I wanted to make when I finally got some money to personalize my own. Next week she comes up like "My husband really loves it and I made sure to tell him you were interested and he made you a personalized MTG deck for free to encourage you to play more!" and I was so awestruck and I've cherished that deck ever since. One teacher had justified hate towards her though. She was (ironically) an art teacher who blasted Christian music (in a non-christian school) and threw away a little kid's rainbow-colored pride art piece because she was homophobic af. Nobody liked her ass, lmfao
@@WolfeWrangle duuuuude your English teacher is awesome!!!! ✨✨ I can understand that feeling. One teacher who is an illustrator, on the end of the semester gave me an expensive pencil cause I love drawing and he knew it, then he ask me to continue drawing what I like and wish me luck being illustrator. I been keeping that pencil with respect
@@ArtBrizt Yooo that's so awesome! The art teacher I had before the mean one let me and the other really artistic kids use expensive Copic markers and good quality pens. We could never keep any of that stuff, of course, but it still felt special. Really nice and encouraging teachers really mean everything. They're the ones that make me want to inspire people the way they inspired and encouraged me.
Awwww, so cute. I did had a Sir Jeffrey, his name was Jhon, it was my English teacher, he was our substitute teacher, but he was so freaking cool everyone ask him to stay for the next year, unfortunately he did not had a good relationship (as everyone) with the coordinator, and had to leave that October, I really miss him
Dudee same I love my art teacher :D she was so nice and even though it was three people in the class we grew to really enjoy it and it was really relaxing for all of us 😢i miss her since we were only alowed to take her class once :/ but shes really cool I wish I could take it again
Honestly mood! I often have a positive relationship with professors but my friends and classmates do Not like them. also MOOOOOD LMAO I only had one art class experience in high school but in middle school and elementary school I swear they would literally just tell you "here use these art tools and do a thing. no I'm not going to teach you how." LIKE ??????? HUH.??? and AWWW it really is sweet how you hung out and chatted and he bought you the ice cream!!! I really bonded with a few teachers and my high school senior year English teacher was awesome and I shared the music I liked with her and suggested a short story to add to the curriculum and SHE DID and she plays one of my favorite songs for the class sometimes too because it was inspired by a work of literature so it's RELEVANT!!!!! I learned all this three years after graduating because I found she had an art instagram account and she had told us students it would be okay to Friend her on Facebook AFTER we graduated so I figured instagram was cool too lol. it's awesome
I had a art teacher like that in 7th grade and I’m 99% sure that me and my best friend were his favorite students since he gave me a 3D printed iron man helmet and my friend a top that worked like a giant beyblade
Had a similar story with my 9th grade art teacher. She was very talented and would always draw with us while talking about the history of the art style we were working on. For some reason everyone didn't like her but I got along with her very nicely. So far that I could use her PC to listen to music on speakers because we had a similar music taste and I had a collection of James Last CDs. I was quite sad that I only had her for one year. She always addressed my class with ''my favourites'' and she would always tell us how good we behaved and how great our paintings were. When we would finish our drawings but others were still working on theirs she would allow us to draw anything we wanted, frame that and hang the pictures up on walls in the school. Surprisingly our paintings never were damaged or anything and somewhere in a german school there is framed startrek fan art.
This makes me remember all the cool teachers I had. It was really nice to have some real mentors, not just somebody reading a book to you with no interest.
My art teacher saw me hit the paintbrush on purpose because it hurt me and he asked why i did that to an inanimate object. I said because it felt good. But i said it in my head.
I kind have my own sir Jeffery in my school . My school is a aquaculture and aquaculture school so he was my Aquaculture Science teacher in junior year . He treated everyone like adults instead of idiot babies like the other teachers . He was calm and understanding with people with mental or physical problems. But he’s also a 6”10 tall and had a murderous janitor look to him :)
MAN sir Jeffery sounds way better than my art teacher, mines just dead inside and I’ll never forget when she marked me absent even though I was RIGHT *THERE*
I never watch videos in English (because I'm from Brazil) But this video was worth it, despite having to go back a few times to understand better it was worth it please don't stop i love your videos (sorry bad english)
I had this one teacher in elementary and up to highschool, this time it was my computer teacher? A lot of people hated her because of her strictness. I actually really admired her, she always gave us free time if we finish early, she’s also very casual and she plays basketball. If you take away her strictness, she actually gives many people chances with missing homework, missing books or being late. I kinda get why she’s strict, a lot of my classmates are too carefree if reminded many times. 👌👌 I think she’s really cool, I remember her remembering me in our intrams(basketball) , she’s from another team but she literally complimented me in my bballness. Don’t get me wrong- I was really surprise and happy since not that much teachers remembers me, sometimes they mispronounce my name and only remember me at the 3-4th quarter 👁👁
my most favourite teacher in high school was our physics teacher who was hated by almost everyone else. and i don't even understand physics all that much. sure, i may have shown interest from time to time but physics really isn't my strong suit. i'm way better at languages, art and other non-sciency things. now about this teacher. she was strict, sure, but she was very funny, she had a great sense of humour, was kind of a rebel among teachers when it came to school rules and the program, and actually cared to talk to her students outside of class to get to know them. in my experience, she also was the only teacher who didn't care if you excel in her class or not because she understood that everyone's good at their own thing and never forgot to tell us that. man, i miss her

In hight school i had too strict teachers who wouldn't help, in university I had too FRIENDLY teachers, who also wouldn't help. And i fell into that "omg! The teach is like a friend to me! I will adore and listen to everything they say!!". After graduation i remembered how my study actually went..and realized that, ironically, the friendly teachers somehow were much morse than strict ones. Because the only thing they did was trying to be friendly, didnt help, and gave very bad advises based on their emotions and own taste. Bleh. Just bleh. So the actually good teacher needs to be just like one you described, enought strict to be actually doing his job but friendly and normal to remember he is a human, not authority, and to treat his students, ALL students as persons. Which would also mean to be strick to them. My friendly teacher from university was going off and off about the importance of mental health. Then, when new student joined our group and started harrasing and bullying me, my teacher didnt stepped in and later said they had no idea. When it was happening during their classes.
My 1st grade art teacher wouldn't let use draw mustaches, smiley suns, horizons, smiley faces, stick figures and we couldn't use black, we did not like her
