Angel Reese joins Holly Rowe after dropping a career-high 25 PTS along with 16 REB and an AST in the Chicago Sky's 88-87 win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
This was an entertaining game, Reese and Clark both played well and half of the comments here are still talking about racial nonsense smh Life in 2024 🤦🏻♂
Cuz white and black QBs are common. That ratio is much different than overall number of white players vs black players in WNBA. And, sadly, people view mixed and lighter skinned black people diffferent than darker skin (like mahomes vs Lamar Jackson)
No negative talk! Both of Reese and Clark had great games! The fight the Sky had to come back after the run the Fever had was great. Let’s just enjoy that it was a good game and both teams played well!
When times get tough, like being down 19pts today, Angel works 10x harder! I felt Caitlyn became negative and kinda quit. No negative talk, just facts!!
Wow. I just watched a wnba game from start to end for the first time. Wow. REECE AND CAITLIN Has really brought new fans to the game. Good game y'all and Boston, Mitchell and Kennedy I see y'all too . yall Keep doing y'all thing!!! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
This is what these two rooks are doing on the court and we're not even half way through their first season? This rivalry is going to be intense and very entertaining. Great game both and sick run to lead the win Angel!
This game had me on the edge of my seat!!! So happy for the Sky now they have moved up the 8th spot in the playoffs!! Love Angel my fave player in the WNBA keep being relentless! 🩷🔥
More like if Nalyssa Smith guarded her every game, Reese would be the Wilt of the WNBA. Smith was absolutely horrific defensively and single-handedly lost the Fever the game. She looks lost out there both offensively & defensively
@@Reaper13-hi3yo Come on now, no one player lose a game, your not going to shut down a great player like Reese everygame, its all part of the game, someone got to win and someone got to lose, Reese scored 25 points, so who scored the other 56 points for Chicago, who was guarding them?
@@SupermanHopkins Did she look good today? She got completely cooked by Reese with little difficulty. Multiple rebounds right over her to Reese. I am making a remark on her play today, not for the season. I would hope she would have better moments than today
Its Olympics tough for those who wanted to whine and cry about a certain player not being on that team. Give me the 6’3 walking double double to go against the girls in international play where things are much more physical point blank period end of discussion.
She’s a rookie and speaking like a true vet. The leadership and confidence in her is what I admire. I watched the entire game and it’s my first wnba game I actually watched. Didn’t disappoint at all. Great game from both teams. Crazy ending.
This girl is amazing. Angel Reese is AMAZING. She has a presence, she has a personality she has a confidence that is absolutely UNMATCHED. My Lord. God bless you Angel Reese. God bless you for being an inspiration for not just young black girls, but old black girls too. Your infectious child-like, happy attitude reminds me squarely of Whitney Houston You are the Whitney Houston of the WNBA. 😀
Over 2.3 million viewers, most for WNBA game in 23 years! Nearly 1 million more than Fox’s MLB game of the week. And, the two teams made it well worth watching, great game!
She won't be like A'ja Wilson. That will never happen. A'ja is elite, and on a completely different level from an ability to shoot and make separation perspective.
@@NothingElseMatters777 Angel has a nice handle; can pass the ball; has quick feet/can play Defense at different positions, and is already shooting 80% from the free throw line (meaning, the touch is already there). So, developing her game won't be hard. She definitively has a high ceiling for sure.
@@msl5253 She's shooting a little over 76% from the line - which is good for 35th in a league of 144 women. Not terrible, but not great either. And, no, she's not anywhere as gifted as A'ja. They're in two different categories. There's a reason she fell to 7th pick in the draft.
So what do people say about CC going back and forth with her coach at the end of the game, then turning her back and walking away? What’s that called????
It's called Clueless Coach ,never switched Boston on Reese even when Cardoso wasn't in the game, didn't run plays for Clark last 2 minutes, when they had Mitchell and Wallace bringing the ball up she got shot's, when she brought it up was to run plays for Boston , Reese took Smith out of the game ,should have sat her . Reese was the difference give her credit.
@djadondaman17 Games like this is when you find out about your players and your Coach, win streak was nice but not really close games down to the wire,in my opinion there were adjustments she could have made ,Reese might have overcome anything she did ,but keeping Caitlyn bringing the ball up in the last 2 minutes was a mistake ,get her off the ball would have been better ,and not putting Boston on Reese mistake.
Can we pause the race war for a moment and both sides just give these two ladies their flowers? They’re both amazing, let’s just admit it. We have a lot to look Forward to in the coming years.
Wow no negative comments about “ the blk girls” mixed with high praise for cc and comparing her to Michael Jordan taking extra jabs at an entire race of folks who hold their athletes in high regard GEEZ I WONDER WHY 🤔🤔🤔
That’s bc Reese is a great winner and a terrible loser! I hope her PR team can help her work on the interviews after a tough loss! She’s a superstar already! They’ll be putting a mic in her face regardless! Great leader on the court!
That’s because when the fever lose they took accountability for their mistakes unlike when Chicago loss the last game & Reese fouled Caitlin, what did she say? She said it was a basketball play lol.
This was her best performance so far obviously. This was a rare hot night from her finishing around the rim. If she can get good footwork and a consistent finishing package around the rim she’d be pretty much unstoppable cause ain’t nobody so far stopping her from getting what she wants at the rim it’s just she’s inconsistent. If she gets that Hakeem Olajuwon masterclass it’s over😂😂😂
The WNBA found the story they didn’t know they needed: The Clark v. Reese Rivalry has all the elements of a classic marketing story. Race ! (Magic vs Larry) Appeal! ( Serena vs Sharapova) Unapologetic talented (T wood vs Mickerson) And notice how all these rivalries check the other boxes ?!? There is just something about race that AMERICA loves to sell!!!! And LOVES to buy.
Notice the huge difference in AR and CC AR is it's all me, CC is humble and says it's the team!!! CC is all class that's why she is drawing tons more fans to the game than AR!!!
You build this up as wyt vs blk and 9 times out of 10 this will be the results every time every time. Because those girls on the other side of that know what every game means. Now Espn make sure you run Angels highlights on repeat 24/7 fairness. Pat McPhee had better have at least 45 mins to talk about that game Fairness. We will have it one way or the other. Thanks for watching. Dont get mad at the tone you made it like this.
@@johnpeterson9266no he’s not cc fans are reading everything and they have nothing to say its hard to when you’re looking at 25 and 16 almost every game. Nice try on copping not working sorry buddy
Well seeing as Angel did win a title at L.S.U. So I guess Clark has 2 bow down 2 da street Queen from dat 3rd Ward B….. Dats in New Orleans faced like an 8th grader with da wind Clark don’t mess with Reese if u don’t know
@@Mahmoud-mk9rw Reese is not averaging 25 & 16, she took advantage of the mismatch vs the horrific Nalyssa Smith, which is to her credit- but she wont and hasnt done this except today
No they're not. I'm not one of them, btw. But, she did have a great game - including owning a rookie record now with 13 assists in a game. The Fever tanked it in the 4th quarter and handed the game to Chicago.

@@terrellcole8421 cope? Do you know what that means? Lmao do you know what you’re saying? So she won the wnba championship? Lmao 🤣 you need to cry to your boyfriend not me.
Hats off to both sides but the Fever blew the game. Sky was relentless and still had fight in them. That hustle and grind mentality was nice. Angel, Carter and Kamilla was nice and everyone else. 😂Like the back and forth between Reese and Smith too 🔥🔥
Reese put that work in today and took over the game. So for those who think she can't exit stage left please! Cardoso recorded her first double double as well today! She put the team on her back today! Way to come back and get the W!
Clark obviously could rack up the points and far in excess of 25. However, as a leader she is trying to involve her team mates with 16 assists. This is what leaders do.
She LOST, and She contributed to The LOSS, by having FIVE TURNOVERS. The Fact that Caitlin Clark is Shooting 38.6% from 2Pt Land and 33.9% from 3Pt Land, tells You that, SHE CAN’T OBVIOUSLY SCORE 25 POINTS! Bottom Line-Angel Reese Impacts Winning and Caitlin Clark has UNDERACHIEVED!
Wow they acting like in first place and selling out every game. This game sold out because of caitlin clark and not because anyone wanted to really see the sky! 😂
I like both, I root for Caitlin because that’s the reason i started watching but kudos to Angel Reese, she finally had her “breakout performance” and led her team to victory. No hate no bull crap. Handled the on court interview like a pro. 🤙🏻
Cailtyn Clark and Angel Reese are the WNBA's Larry and Magic. They'll propel the league to new heights and inspire a Michael Jordan like player ten years from now
