I had a little peek around and I think he is who he said he is from the few clips there is out there (Based on voice). Either way, that attitude and use of slurs is highly inappropriate and he should reflect on his own plays first and foremost.

He did 10 elims per 1100 damage.. Wowzers. He had to do 1100 damage before scoring an elim. If that was him getting the kills at all. He was obviously not hitting consecutive headshots. Either that or he was shooting tank all game long. Or both.

I… I can’t watching the “contenders player” he stood still to hit shots, only healed his duo, didn’t even know the fucking range of Illari’s heal beam, he had a passionate make out sesh with his own pylon, he wasn’t even wrong about their tank, he had bad positioning, but his was worse, deadass Contenders is just diamond if that’s the people they taking😂… I’m mentally insane after watching that absolute copium

Anyone can technically join contenders, regardless of what rank they are. He also never actually won anything or competed at a real high level and isnt a "pro" anything.

I'm really disappointed in Ampere's behavior. Not once did he engage with you in good faith, he simply unleashed a series of personal attacks on you. There was no constructive discussion from him, only a low-minded, repetitive attack on you as a person. Ampere was obviously someone with his ego invested in the game. I'm certain he was well aware of how poorly he played this game. You handled yourself very well in the face of an irrationally angry person, Grotech. Well played.

As an illari main i average healing and damage around the same. Looks like enemy illari did better just looking at stats did better. Were is this 11k dmg going? With no elims? They had a roadhog. Makes sense. Tank farming lol. We dont claim him.

Yeah I was looking at their stats (his damage was impressive but his elims were comparatively low) and thought "Was he just shooting the tank a lot?" and then the replay was shown and confirmed it. Really weird gameplay if this guy is actually a pro.

Tbh if you act like that as a "contenders player" you should be stripped of that role/removed from contenders. You should not act like that claiming you werent the problem when you were a support with 2800 heals and 11k damage, it should be the other way around heals come first now, it isn't old overwatch 2 where supports could vaporize anything they wanted.

Man I run into toxicity (I might add to it myself sometimes but never too awful lol) often and I can’t seem too get to many clips of it. I have a lot of swift and quick executions. In season 8, I remember beating an "allegedly" Master's Tank as a Plat Tank. I didn't say anything, but as the game is ending, they typed something along the lines of "Trash Plat Tank player. Relying on the most broken tank in the game" (Mauga). I replied with "still won". Which they got even angrier and told me to talk to him when I get into Masters, his level, without abusing the system. Replied with "smurfing and still lost ?". Which they added me after the game, which I assume were either a miss click towards the report button, or they tried to "talk to me" further. I ignored it ofc. Somehow I met the dude again in another plat lobby in season 9. The match ended early because one of the support on their team left, which I assume because the "masters" tank dude kept flaming them on match chat. I began to wonder if that "masters" dude was actually a masters player to begin with, since they were flaming their support for not being able to out heal the damage from 5 people shooting at them in the open.

I never believe anyone who sucks at the game to be what rank it shows. As buying an account was very easy to do in overwatch 1 I bet it was not that hard to do it in 2. I have seen vids of people watching someone on top 500 playing like it the first time on. And it is sad to the soul.

listen. i am an illari support main. i am SILVER 1 illari support main. some of the decisions here are what i see in silver lobbies. some of these decisions are choices that i have had to learn NOT to do as someone who is learning and trying to rank up. the pylon placement is atrocious. barely anyone is capitalizing off of it OR the enemies can just take it down immediately bc it was in the middle of a choke. illari, even after season 9 patch, can do wicked amount of healing and damage if you are balancing your heals and dps. always make sure your team can follow through when you ult. illari cannot just spam out damage. her weapon needs to charge which means her ult is more effective when you play with your team. i am a better illari than this person. i am silver 1. i have seen better illaris when i was hard stuck bronze. like ??? crazy. if you have the least amount of heals in game as illari, you are playing her wrong. she should never be the lowest in the match.

Doesn't matter if you're on a high damage support, you should still be healing, that's why it's called support and not dps. Good support players know how to do both. Supports like bap, ana, kiri, illari can all be doing high heals and high damage at the same time. You can clearly tell mans is just shooting the hog all game and that's why his damage is so high. Like if you wanna do a lot of damage at least put your pylon in a good spot for your team... this is so sad

It's like this in every rank. I know that as a tank or dps I'm not going to get healed. Some asshole in some other country makes video's on how to climb rank as heals by dpsing. I'm lucky if after the first round my healers have 1k heals. I started playing hog just so I can heal myself and a lot of times I have more healing done then both my healers combined. Reporting does nothing.

Having low healing on a support is viable, you just have to be good enough to pull it off (and not just shooting tank lol), although you should still be healing when you have an opportunity which is why 3k is still suspiciously low. Surely he can't be a pro with 7:20 though, that's just embarrassing.

The guy was tilted and seemed wrong from a Low-Skill level player point of view (Myself). But playing a different match and claim "isn't it crazy when he isn't in my game we win" just seems petty and has horrible logic to the situation.... I don't think it was needed and puts you in a bad light. That was a different match with different people in different situations..

Maybe it's just that I've watched too much KarQ and mL7...but he does *not* seem like a high ranked Illari player, even when he was trying. Sounds more like a boosted Plat who thinks he can just throw around the 'I'm a Pro player on an alt, you peasant!' to get people to back off and not question him. Because holy shit, bro sounded like he was one second away from having a complete and total meltdown. Not only that, but it was like he couldn't decide on a target to shoot at (and when he chose one, it was almost always one he couldn't win a 1v1 with, like the Hog), he thinks stats mean anything (really all his '11k damage' tells you is that he's been shooting at the Hog all game, since he has like 10 kills). And I know high ranked players can be pretty arrogant (run into enough of them from Masters), but you see a lot of the arrogance in Plat players, especially the ones super insistent on you 'getting on their level before you can even look at them'. So I'm going with boosted Plat player with an ego trip problem who's using Shaq's identity to get people to not challenge how terrible he is.

No way he's a pro. No one in their right mind thinks playing dps only as a support is the play in any situation at any point in time. If you want to play DPS, stop being a loser and play the role designated for DPS, it's not rocket science. DPS players play DPS and support players play support. If you don't heal your tank, your team has no frontline and gets steam rolled no matter how good you are. You can be a team of top 500 players and if you lose your tank, a team of gold players will be able to stomp you. You HAVE TO HEAL YOUR TANK.
