Andrew, I’ve been with you almost from the beginning. I’m a 70 year old lady who doesn’t build houses, plant gardens, deal with rural internet, or build ice makers. But I watch almost all your videos because I’m amazed and impressed by your intelligence, hard work and honesty. I know you’ll do your best to make great videos because you’re a driven individual! You were born to be successful and a leader who does what needs to be done to reach your goals by your morale code. I approve your morale code and appreciate the kind of person you are. Fortunately for me with my channel , there have only been a select few that have been critical. Having said that, they have only found two things to be critical about. Everything I say and everything I do. I have never unsubscribed from any channel. Not one. There are some that I don’t follow anymore, but I still stay subscribed. There is one channel that I am subscribed to that I actually saw the content creator on video, damage someone else’s property, and joke about not telling anyone. The amount of comments that came flooding in, in support of this behavior was astonishing to me. Accidents happen. We are all human. But at least be responsible enough to own up to them when they do. I came very close to unsubscribing to that channel but my personal commitment to never doing that is what stopped me. Thanks for being so open and candid Andrew. This will probably cost you subscribers but it won’t cost you me. You are stuck with me

Thanks for this kind of transparency, Brother. I appreciate your honesty and candor. For what it's worth, as a individual who watches loads of content, I feel myself and alot of people like me don't necessarily care about the product placement, or product reviews themselves. Too be fair most of the time I'm actually going to YT for that express purpose. As long as you are truthful ie... product A is better than product B... not just opinion but factual reasoning you can then set yourself apart from the content creators who as you put it, "Have sold out". I started watching your channel when you did the storm shelter series. I am very much a DIYer, so I enjoy the building/creating projects. My wife has medical equipment that must be powered if the grid power goes off. Years ago I installed a generator switch and use gas powered generator as back up power. I played with solar and have a small portable solar system, The reality is to have a solar system large enough to provide minimal power that is needed is totally prohibitive. With all this said, I look forward to the coming content and am glad the pure product review videos will be cutting back. I don't watch the home shopping channel on TV and won't on You Tube.

I don’t understand how anyone could think you sold out though, even with companies you’ve done a lot of videos on, you’ve still been very honest about the pros and cons of their products. I recently found your channel about a month or two ago. I have watched must of your videos, I like the way you explain and how transparent you are. Everything that you just explained is common sense, remember haters are always gonna hate, and if they can't understand something so simple, then they shouldn't be building anything 😂. Keep up the good work man. Your product review videos are great, I look for those videos, that way I know when I need something like that, there's someone that's already tested it and can recommend it. We live in the city and are selling our house to move to the country...we are in Florida as well, and you have been of an inspiration, since Im a DIYer and will definitely be using your videos as guidance. I’ve loved you channel since it was recommended by another channel I follow. I think back then you were trying to reach 10k, to be honest I don’t watch all the videos but I watch a lot specifically if it’s something that I’m into. As for reviews I search RU-vid all the time for reviews before buying many products. You do a awesome job man. Keep it up!
