That was great. I really love the visual look and feel of this one. The lighting in that clock shop is wonderful, especially with the slight fog that lets you feel the atmosphere. Great coloring as well.
The composition of it would have looked nicer if the shot was already moving when it started and if the panning shot didn't stop abruptly on the watch shop.
On Sam and Niko they explain that they're using 3d printed bokehs (is that how it's spelt?) to achieve an anamorphic look. Plus they're using new, higher end, Sigma lenses.
Love this one! Anything to do with with 'time' always seems to have a lot of potential to me, particularly time travel like the timeturner in HP Azkaban.. loved the use of clock sounds in the score too.
the cinematography in this short is some of the best I've seen from corridor! love the dusty old fashioned wooden feel of the clock store in contrast to the hi-tech sci fi environment outside.
This was solid. Good humor, Decent pacing, and great characterization. Plus I love the unintentional homage to Action Man with our protagonists trying to form a plan through the power of math.
I mean, even Niko himself said in a recent video that he felt like a few of their last projects had some vfx that ween't up to par, so maybe this was one of those examples, who knows. I would say it a pretty good problem to have if the only tiny issue with your video is a door destruction effect looks a little off lol.
This has to be my favorite video I’ve seen them make. It was compelling and fun. I wanted to see more of the story. I’d love to see them make a sequel. ‘I’m a Smart Watch, In the White House!’
I didn't see the anamorphic effects of that camera lens Sam was geeking out about edit: I first wrote Jake, mistakenly. Of course Sam was geeking out :)
at 1:58 there's a light source on the left. you can see that it's not perfectly round but more of an elipse, thats one of the effects of using anamorphic lenses.
I love the fact that you can hear Sam's specific intonation and word choice through the watches' voice. Think about it, a smartwatch bickering in Sam's voice all day. 10/10 would recommend :D
@@DUSMIC I getcha but there's been a lot of animated characters in movies and tv shows that looked very similar in the past century. Eh not like it matters anyway it's no blatant rip off. I saw some saying corridor ripped off Jarvis from avengers lol.
@@John-Doe-Yo oh right, now that I think about it, it does look a little like Jarvis, can’t deny the factor of inspiration. Good conversation, enjoyed sharing🤝
why do ppl complain about these vids you guys make? I love everything you do because of the dedication and time it takes to film and edit plus the brain power and creative ideas you come up with in the first place. you can take an empty cart of milk and turn it into something fun like come on.. i dont get it. i watch these amazing clips and i'm like wow the graphics are great the scenes are put together well and you do it without billions of dollars and BETTER than any cgi movies ive ever seen come out within the last 10 15 years. keep up the great work you guys for real screw all these negative ppl who dont know or think about how much time and patients it takes just to make 1 whole video let alone a single scene. ive watched you guys get better and better, hell , you guys impressed friggin SNOOP DOGG for fk sakes! love you guys!
