Hypno went through all the trouble of trying to annoy Wels, but Cub building the Horn Shop within range of Wels' castle will probably do a much better job. Everyone constantly trying out all the horns before they buy. 😂

You are so right Wels... my dog used to LOVE this climbing rope that was attached to my old wooden playscape/swingset i had when i was a kid. My dog would be out in the yard for hours playing Tug of War with himself using that climbing rope. It was JUST high enough that when he was latched on his front legs cpuldnt reach the ground, so he was rotate in a circle as he tried to pull the rope off, a few times he would get a good jump in and end up spinning around like a tetherball... it was absolutely hilarious and i could watch him for hours just have a blast. Oh he would also go out to the far back of our yard and wiggle himself between the wooden privacy fence and the chainlink fence. You see our neighbors behind us also have a privacy fence on the front fence line of their house but there was a gate they always left open. So my dog would wiggle between the fences and go down far enough so he could laydown and watch traffic through their open gate. Then when we would call for him to come inside he couldnt simply turn around and couldnt figure out how to get out walking backwards... so he would sit and use his front legs to climb upright and rotate 180 then plop back down now facing back towards the gap in the fences to wiggle out... hours and hours spent squeezed between the fences just enthralled by the traffic. Side note, never stop with the Doggo stories. I miss my goofy little pooch so I greatly enjoy the silly tales of other doggos shenanigans.

Whenever it's quiet and Wels starts speaking then there's a sounds in the background like someone is blowing into a plastic straw or when you blow into an empty bottle.

Yeah I noticed the same buzzing sound when he speaks and there is no background track playing. Start hearing it at 2:15 ish when the background track finishes. Could be a compression issue? noise cancelling the echo? Not sure.

How loud do you listen to this video? I assume you're using headphones as well, because I can barely make out the sound you mention. What you are hearing is background audio (maybe a fan) picked up by Wels's mic, but it's low enough that it gets cut off when he stops speaking.

I was babysitting a friends cat for over a week, and I figured out that cats are basically r-tards. Sounds like a lot of people find their low IQ and erratic behavior funny and entertaining though. I guess that's just good old fashioned IRL entertainment......

Another good option for dogs, at least if Riley has destroyed toys in the past, is a Lacrosse Ball. With your neighbor having a couple dogs that I'm sure goes through toys, you could suggest it to them as well. We had a pit bull that would destroy every toy, including ones that claim they're indestructible but we ended up finding a random Lacrosse ball and it lasted him years because he simply couldn't break it. **it does bounce a good amount, as we learned**

Yes! I had a Shiba Inu who would chew through anything and lacrosse balls were cheaper to replace and stronger than a lot of the balls we got him. The bounce is something to be wary of if you have kids lol, I use to hit the roof with them by bouncing them

Not sure if anyone said already but, for the flower pots, you could use the decorated pot (or without decorating it) then, put a flower pot on top with a sappling or a death bush and top it with the leaves. That way will not connect to the wall and you can have a little bit of variation with the sherds or the sapplings that you use. Also, you could add one armor stand outside and give it a shield and an sword and modify a little bit with the armor stand mod/datapack. That way you'll have the night watch as a propper lord/knight

When we first got my current dog, my sister (who was about 20 months old at the time) would feed the dog about 12 times a day. So one day my dad took the dog to the vet and at this point pepper(my dog) was about 3 months old at the time and he was allready like 50 lbs (he’s a border collie) and my sister had the most innocent look on her face like she knew what she did.

If you haven’t given Riley a “Super” Kong with frozen peanut butter in it, definitely try it. You fill the center with some peanut butter, then freeze it. (After he finishes with it, clean it each time.) It’s great for rainy days, when he can’t be outside as much. (It’s whichever is the toughest version of a Kong toy.) The Indestructible Ball is probably a horse ball, if it’s what I got many years ago for my Catahoula. She had a super strong bite, so went through toys like crazy. (She even destroyed a Super Kong, but it took her a while. lol) I’m glad that Riley loves his ball!

Speaking as one who, upon finally having access to Bedrock Mobile version of Hermitcraft, instantly got turned around/lost in a cave via some Hermit’s basement, I marvel you can know at a glance which turret you’re working on. 😂 I know. I’m hopeless at direction; South is North in my head. It’s weird. I instantly thought it would be cool if that turret had some signification: a fancy banner hanging from the window, or an “in residence“ flag in addition to the one already there, or even both. ❤

I remember my family once got our yellow lab a so-called "indestructible dog toy" and within a day she had chewed it to bits. I'm glad the ball is actually virtually unbreakable!

Something I've done before for tree trunks to avoid the fences connecting is to drop 2 armor stands perpendicular to each other (so their bodies cover up the gaps in each other). It's hard to get them to line up nicely with the leaves, but with the armor stand book, you can align them after the fact.

I love the new bedroom. It looks great. Maybe you can use banners and paintings to decorate the castle. Castles would sometimes have a big art gallery. Will you have a ballroom? I did notice some audio issues towards the end of the video. Kind of a humming or rustling noise? Not quite sure how to explain it.

My family also has a black lab and she's terrified of the vet. She had to go there quite often due to her recklessly playful nature (and jumping into any body of water repeatedly). While she would never bite and likely doesn't even know how to do that, it was still impossible for the vet and multiple nurses to keep her restrained. Four or five people couldn't wrestle that dog to give her a shot, but once my brother went in she calmed down immediately.

Assuming you got the standard shots recommended by vets, there's a good chance Riley did NOT receive a canine influenza vaccine. Depending on your location, and your plans for what happens with the pupper while you travel or in an emergency, it would be a good idea to get it! Some doggy daycares will require it, so inquire ahead with whatever one you may use!

Thanks for the ball recommendation, Wels! I've got a couple of Aussies that love pouncing and chasing balls, but they also like to pick 'em up with their mouths. Some balls that's okay, and some... not so much. A big hard ball that they can't pick up, though? Definitely gonna try that out.

New audio set up sounds great! I like the MC bedroom design! Your comment about the teal on the chiseled bookshelves needing to be a different color - perhaps purple to match your bed or red to match your castle theme color. I agree with the fence post and the connectedness to the wall of not being a good fit. Have you thought about the dead bush as a stem for your greenery? I think that might look amazing in your sleeping quarters. I always look forward to your videos and thank you for posting!

Welcome back! The new audio sounds perfect, same as ever, to me! Aww, I'm glad Riley had a great time at the vet and has a fun new toy! That's such a cute interior, personally I find the fence connecting sideways fine, just like the tree has branches, but it still looks a bit better without the fence just for being shorter, also the knight's important backup armour completes the room! Lol I love the new hermit voice horns from Cub's shop, they have a lot longer range than voice chat, right?

For the pants on the sides of the beds you could do a flowerpot and dead bush at the bottom instead of composter. Don’t know if it would look right but it couldn’t hurt to try!

5:28 The dog I had was exactly the same, he actually loved there. It was a vet and grooming place, so we took him there for bathing and cutting the hair, and whenever he needed a shot or if they noticed something they would tell us.

hey wells im a little late as im catching up on all the hermits i watch this week, but one idea that popped in my head, is your desk, you might move the pot and one additonal pot with the bonsai wannabe tree on the wall ledge that exists due to the shelves, like people growing flowers and such on windowseals.

Hey wels, for the small trees in the bedroom, try using spore blossoms as the stem, as it won't connect to the brick. Love the build. Also the audio sounds great.
