To The Top Crane | I haven't done a live stream for quite some time. Thought I'd come on and chat for a bit. Maybe get you all caught up on what has been going on in my world.
Hey Jimmy, Just wanted to let you know that you have been an inspiration to me. Partly because of your video's I took the plunge and changed careers and am now an apprentice at a crane hire company in a city close to me. Just keep doing what makes you feel good, I appreciate any video's of you regardless of quality or length. Thanks for all the effort you put it, and know it does makes a difference :)
Awesome man! I’ve been following you for a while and I’ve even started making videos myself. I watched your juicy caboosy vid but I just realized that it’s final destination is only like 40 minutes from where I live. The company I work for probably unloaded the caboose, haha.
FYI the crane at 1:20:00 ish is the mammoet ptc-200-ds. Its a crane specially designed to be fully containerized. Meaning every part fits in a standard shipping container or is the size of (with same mounting holes) as a container. That way they can easily ship it anywhere in the world and transport all pieces by normal truck. The counterweight is containers filled with sand if i recall correctly (which you can get anywhere, so saves shipping weight).
Nice to see you back Jimmy! We can all need some time off the grid and grit once in a while to work with ourselves. Take your wife's advices, even if she hadn't been a doctor! And tell her you only can do things that are funny and relaxing as driving motorcycle, instead of cleaning. [Haha!] Worth a try anyway, Jimmy! Loosing pets / and older relatives are really hard because you learn and bond soo much from them. Pets are often worse, when you have the responsibility to take care of them the whole life. I take care of older cat gents from estate and shelters because no one will adopt them. They are so good to get into my bunch of cats and other pets at my farm because they haven't any turf feelings to protect and the others are custom with it. Take some time until they will learn/trust the cat doors, but later they are laying on grass in sun the whole summer here in Sweden. Have three over 20y now. Oldest is 26 (1/6th Perser and rest some Norwegian Forest cat). Myself I had a bad session with fatigue syndrome, depression, and migraine headaches (hitting the wall) in the autumn 2018 at 61y old. Still have some problems with it today, but is back about 75% now. Thought i was invincible as a former military officer and still Fire Chief Officer and forestry farmer with good physics. With very good help from Swedish health care system and meds I'm working again and have done so under the whole C19 period. Soon retiring anyway so all things "unnecessary" at home and with kids and grandkids can be dealt with later.
Hey Jim !! Howdy again as have missed you videos !! Hope ALL is well !! Kinda miss seeing you Model collection !! Have a good week & looking forward to seeing your work !!!
Real life videos work best 30 minutes max any longer gets boring great to see you again i enjoyed your videos because each vid you had something different going on From the United Kingdom
Hallo from Sweden, sorry about the hard times but im glad too see that you're about to pick yourself up again. As an operator(and now teacher) i like the raw footage, i understand that you have to edit some out for the bigger audience but for me, been there done that, i dont mind the "slow" bits in a video. Missed the live but these two hours was a great start on a chilly(-18c) sunday morning. Keep it up👍/Tomas
Hey buddy How’s going? I’m crane operator, are you hiring someone now? Anyway I like your videos and consider all of them as very interested and useful!
Great to see you back, because you try to keep the videos true and real 💯💯👍👍. Sorry about your father in law 😢. Congratulations to your wife 👍👍. Sorry about family dog 😢.
Everyone heals differently, I'm glad you had an epiphany and are getting back at it. I watch too see something different, editing doesn't matter much to me so you do you. It's one reason I don't get more serious with BBQ, I don't want it to be a job. Have fun and look forward to your next pick.
