I'm back on campus for the summer 

Hi Carlos! When will your essays be due? I could give you some suggestions here, but also, in the next year, I'll be posting a LOT more, and you might be able to find some things that you'll find interesting and niche too. What kinds of things are you interested in?

I’m already writing many of the supplementary essays and it would be of tremendous help if you share with me something related with the Science Computer area, cause I would like to major there. Is there something you know about the labs there or any other kind of thing that could be helpful in the question “Why Duke?” Also, it would be fantastic if you know some activity, club, or tradition that international students have at Duke (Specially if they are Latin American). Finally, I am Christian, so that it would be great if you know some club or community that I could feel I fit in at duke. I know you are in your senior year, and I appreciate your time responding me very much, Andrew! Actually, you are my namesake because my middle name in Spanish is “Andrés” which is the translation of Andrew into Spanish (Lol) So that, thank you very much beforehand, bro! 💯

@@carlitin9140 I'm not so familiar with the computer science area here, but you might want to look up some professors and labs that interest you. www.cs.duke.edu/ For "Why Duke," there's a lot that you can look at! There are a variety of Duke-affiliated websites that can show you the huge variety of activities and programs that go on here that might seem interesting to you. Or Duke Basketball? Haha. I'm not so sure that the things that interest me would be interesting to you, and I think that if you make the response personal to you, that'd be best! That question will also pop up on my channel in the months to come before your application starts too, so you might be able to find some more answers here! For international students and Latin American culture, I know of IHouse (international house) and some dance groups, but other than that, I'm not so sure... In terms of religious groups, this link might help chapel.duke.edu/student-engagement/religious-life-groups I know of people in Cru and RUF specifically. Of course, and thank you for reaching out!
