I'm back with ALL NEW KNITTING PROJECTS! Podcast Ep. 17 The Copycat Stitch Crochet Craft Project Log 

Glad to see the podcast again, it so motivates me to pick up what I'm working on. Apologies for the angst dump last time, ah well. Let's hope 2024 moves past the slow start and looks brighter soon. I know you'll make amazing stuff this year! I am working on the Ghost Horses sweater after finishing Betty and Judy's Lodge sweater, and have also cast on the Rizzo blouse, and well... I need to finish several pairs of socks. Better get down to it!

Why not have your new deadline for your husband's sweater be Valentines day? That nice and doable :) Also the unspun fiber is probably roving on those mittens. And I am ALWAYS playing yarn chicken on sweaters, so I do the same thing - I prioritize the areas I know I want ascertain length. I have a lot of 3/4 sleeve cardigans, but thats how I like them anyway lol. As far as the yea goes, I got sick the last week of 23, but I've been ok this year. Ive been a completely monogamous knitter with thr Mohn Cardigan from Engineering Knits. It is SO FUN to knit the tuck stitch and I just don't want to work on anything else. So I feel like I have the opposite of your cast-on-itis lol. I really want to have this finished sweater soon though.

I'm glad you took the time you needed to rest! I have two yarny goals this year: First, I want to make a bunch of hats and scarfs out of my lesser quality acrylics, then donate the finished objects. As I learn more about yarn and gain more hand-dyed skeins, I want the those other skeins out of my house and into the hands of folks who could use some warmth. Second, I'm learning to knit this year! I'm already making good headway on a Jelly Roll Blanket (also using up scraps of the lesser quality acrylics). I'm rolling a D20 to decide my colors, which has been the most fun. My ultimate goal is a pair of socks. Take lots of care of yourself, and I can't wait til your next video!

Great timing! I just finished binge watching all of your episodes. 😉 Some I will have to go back and watch again. So good to see you again. Love the venue - watching you sitting by the fire makes me want to knit. This Christmas break I hauled out all the WIPs and am going to make an effort to turn them into FOs. LOL on the "fiber snakes". Happy New Year!!!

Good to see you back. I'm watching this in the throes of THAT virus. This makes me feel a little better. I love that you put cast-on-itis with the illness/condition. It makes it sound so serious. Well, it is, isn't it?! Though none of us really want to be healed from it, do we?

Roving yarn is what I believe the unspun yarn you're using to make the thrums for your mittens is called. Hope your feeling well and keeping warm!!!
