I'M BURNT OUT. 

I don't think many people remember this one because it doesn't have Lee in the thumbnail, but I am so touched by the way she took over the channel on this occasion and even braided Bec's hair. What an angel. She truly was and is so special, a magnetic force as everyone said. She was meant to create change, and she will impact so many. She will save so many lives.

This is the video I think of when I think of Lee. You can see how special she was from this. Totally stepped up and helped her friend going through a rough patch. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this video and I want to be this kind of person

Saying that people can't feel sad because other people have it worse is the same as saying people can't feel happy because other people have it better. You have every right to have, process, analyze, and share your emotions. You're human. ❤️ And buying a house/cabin, whatever, is one of the most stressful life events beside having a child and getting married. Anyone who has ever done it totally understands!

Good morning beautiful friends! I just wanted to reiterate what I posted on Instagram this morning here: Sharing my burn out with you was something I was avoiding. When it comes to luck and privilege I have it in spades and for fear of sounding ungrateful I thought it was best kept to myself. But, these past two weeks I just couldn’t push through our normal day to day. Everything we’ve gone through this year compounded with our current life changes boiled up and boiled over. I had no energy, I wasn’t sleeping, my stress levels were at an all-time high and picking up the camera to vlog or share a story felt like an impossible task. Our goal online is and will always be to remain as open and honest with you (and ourselves) as possible so this week we’re back to vlogging but I’m not quite back to my usual self. A huge thank you to @leemacmil for being the kind of friend who doesn’t wait to be asked for help but instead jumps in head first when she sees a friend in need. Without her, today’s episode wouldn’t have been possible. If you ever get the chance to find yourself a Lee... hold on tight and remind her as much as she’ll hear it how much you love her. To everyone who has reached out asking why we’ve disappeared from the internet and sent your thoughtful messages - thank you 💕. Our community is like no other. As you’ll see when you *click the link in our bio*, we’re about to embark on a brand new chapter and I’m breathing in a huge gulp of fresh air (quite literally). You know what darlings? It’s okay to just chat with us! I feel like you might think every episode has to be “action packed” but pour a cup of chai, get cozy and tell us about your hopes and vision for the cabin. I kinda teared up when Bob said "They're on their way to the first home of their lives." I love your honesty, Bec! Don't be sorry for being human. You guys didn't sound like you were complaining anyway. And even if you were you didn't place any blame on other people, I think that's the line to draw.

Everyone knows how much effort you put into your films - if you take a week off every now and then no-one is going away, we'll all still be here when you get back. Don't get too wrapped up in your RU-vid schedule.....find a way to make some space for yourselves (I completely know how you feel - I was there last year)......and congratulations on the new cabin!! I went looking for this video today because I remembered what an incredible friend Lee was to Eamon and Bec, and I wanted to see her beautiful, vivacious spirit shine through the screen again. It's still so hard to believe that she's gone, and I can't even imagine what a loss it is for her friends and family.

This episode brings tears to my eyes. Shows how bright and shiny Lee was ⭐️

I second what Jen Barclay says, you don't have to make your days action packed. We like your videos because we like you. We like being part of your lives in whatever great or small part you allow us. If you need to take time off due to stress, take it off. We will be here when you get back. Take care of yourselves, stay safe. Love and solidarity from Toronto.

I’m devastated. I haven’t been watching long, just about a year, but I loved Lee so much. Hearing the news, I immediately remembered this video and had to come back to it. I just wished for so many things to have gone differently. I wish to celebrate how wonderful she is instead. My heart goes out to you, Eamon and Bec, and to everyone like me who had this invisible yet strong connection to her in more ways than one.

There’s not a single person who watches your videos regularly who will think you guys are ungrateful or just complaining to complain. This year has been stressful for all of us and while you guys are very blessed, you are also human and have stressors and moments filled with anxiety just like everyone else. Feel those emotions just like anyone else and continue with your great work. We all love you and we love your honesty and vulnerability just as much as we love your cheerfulness and optimism.

THIS video is what I immediately remember about Lee when I heard about her tragedy. This is what a person like Lee does when OTHER people are stressed out. She lends a hand and helps out which is EXTREMELY underrated. It is super sad to hear of your loss, but I'm so glad that you guys were able to have known such a wonderful friend and to have shared her with the rest of us. Lee forever.

I really don’t think that stressed & burnt out is synonymous with ungrateful. Everybody, no matter what place in life they’re in, confronts challenges and struggles sometimes. Please don’t feel the need to apologize for it! Thanks for sharing the tough stuff - keep livin loud + proud! Love y’all!

One more thing, old real estate law clerk here. Make sure you get title insurance on the property if there are questions of ownership. The title insurance will cover any issues of ownership when you want to re-sell. 💕

We loved her so much. All I wish is that she is free now from all that was harming her. We will always hold her in our hearts, thank you for having her be apart of our lives through your guys videos. This was the most selfless thing she did that I got to see on camera and I thought this was the nicest thing considering how stressed you guys were and she came to your rescue. We love her energy so much and it still moves through though she’s gone in spirit .

Went through a divorce (after a thirty-year marriage), had to transfer ownership of several things, bank accounts, etc, moved out, bought a place, then COVID hit and the shut-down occurred on the day I signed the papers to take ownership of my home--all within five months. I've given myself permission this year to spend the time I need to heal and reflect. Plus, I have a teen to take care of--so it's not just me going through turmoil. You can get through this. Love yourselves--and take time to refresh.

I’m old enough to be your mum so I’m taking the liberty of wrapping you both in a virtual hug (give each other a hug here) and giving you some loving advice. You give so many people so much enjoyment that you will never know. we’ve all hopefully been taking time to try and wrap our heads around the current craziness ( and using your wonderful content to help us cope) but as you accurate said we all need to take the time to fully wrap our minds around what is the current normal and how it is impacting us as well as how it might impact us and figure out if we can do anything to help insulate ourselves from those changes. I’m being long winded but trying to say take care of your mental, physical and relational well being. Be proactive about it. Hugs and kisses.

Although I wish it didn’t happen 💔 I appreciate seeing this side of you. It’s been a while, and I honestly can’t explain how much it means to see such kind & genuine people have hard days too. I think it gives us all hope that we can add good in the world even through struggles because that’s exactly what you do ❤️ fuck 2020.

Seeing footage of Lee really breaks my heart. But I still feel like coming back to this ♥️ She was such a beautiful and radiating soul and has brought so much joy to peoples lives. What happened really brings everything in perspective. My heart shattered into a million pieces when I read the news yesterday. I cried so hard, even though I never knew her personally. But: I have and still do identify with her mental health journey on several levels and throughout her journey she gave me a lot of hope. It is scary when darkness takes over. Luckily I had an appointment with my therapist the very same day the news came out. We spoke about this the whole session and I finally dared to open up about a lot of feelings and dark thoughts I was holding onto and was afraid to verbalize before . I hope that all people who are struggling out there take this as a reminder to never give up hope, to take their needs and feelings seriously and never be afraid to ask for help. We'll never forget you Lee, thank you for sharing your journey with us, you inspired a lot of us to keep going ♥️

How incredibly sad, from the outside looking in i think Lee was truly someone with the hugest heart that empathetically and genuinely cared so deeply of the emotions of others…

When you didn’t post last week I went to the comments to see if I had missed a message telling us and all I read were people genuinely caring for your well being. Your community loves you. Know your feelings matter and the privileges you live have been earned by your will, determination, creativity and consistency. Life is challenging no matter how good we have it. In my 20’s I had a nervous breakdown . The doctor told me that more than 2 major life events in a 12 month period can cause a reduction in A chemical that anti - depressants will put back . I was ill for a year , I’m in my 40’s now and can spot when I need to stop , slow or cut out the noise . The job you do as a utuber is constant and does not allow you breathing space or the option to cut out the noise . Your business must have been hugely affected by the pandemic . Your home and future plans left on the other side of the world . Not to mention building a new home AND buying a house and the huge stress this brings . As a viewer it is no surprise you are delicate and we recognise you are not simply “ having a bad day “ nor “ being ungrateful “ You are no doubt depleted and will need time to recover , which your work does not allow . I truly hope you can both find a balance and that the pressure can ease in some way . Also I wanted to say that showing your emotional vulnerability was brave and I’m sure a huge comfort to many who are feeling the same in their own difficult stage . I wish you both luck and peace at such a challenging stage of your life . ( when I feel a wobble I use St. John’s wort - a herbal natural remedy for anxiety , may be of help x) Apologise for the long message , I know I am just one of thousands but watching you guys brings so many of us joy and we wish you well AND TRY TO WATCH ALL THE ADVERTS SO you GET MORE MONEY !!!!

One of my favorite episodes, so vulnerable and authentic. And I love seeing Lee offering her genuine self, free form and fun, would love to see more of her on your vlog! It’s totally okay to admit burn out, it’s normal., and to take time for your self. You need to replenish too! I have been amazed at how much new creative content you guys come up with, including e-book, 21 day exercise challenge, constant travel, a van goodbye, Covid reboot, Van build, new cabin....my goodness, you deserve a break!

Guys, take a break!! Buying a house is stressful at the best of times. It surprised me how stressful it can be and I used to work in a bank dealing with mortgages, so I had an idea of the process. If you need some time off from vloging etc... take it!

So many of us *need* this honesty right now....I could see this, what you call “burnt out” coming!! No shame!! Feel your feelings! Give yourself grace!! You guys both are so strong and inspiring! I started watcing regularly when Bec was diagnosed, after having seen you guys several times in Kara and Nate's videoes. I'm now going back to random places in your old videoes to get to know you from before the cancer. And also to see Lee, because I started to watch the video you made after her passing, but I didn't know who she was at the time, and I wanted to get a glimpse of who she was. Seeing you get the cabin, and all the stress and struggle it was, knowing what is coming down the road, and seeing Lee trying her best to help carry your burden. I am in tears, like I am at every other video it seems like. You'll probably never see this, but I just felt the need to comment, because in my own struggles, I feel like you guys are there for me, from afar and from the past

It's pretty well documented from vloggers who have come before you that making your life into your content is fuel for certain burnout. It takes such courage to lead the lifestyle that you do, but it also requires that you be extra aware of your mental health. Shout out to amazing friends like Lee who know what it's like, and are there for you when you need a break. Your lifestyle, while blessed, is one that most people could never sustain for as long as you have.

I seriously love this Vlog. I feel like it’s more pure and honest than it has been in a long time. I feel like you often feel like everything has to be perfect and staged, but you honest self is so much more than enough, it’s perfect and the reason all of us love to follow you and every path you take.

I can very highly relate to this, I've been struggling a lot lately as well. We love you guys so much, and its incredible that you put out a video every week, I love seeing them. However, your health, both mind and body, are so very important, you have to take care of yourself first.
