Loved the reaction, Emma! Jim Carey is one of my favourites! Jim in his early years lived in Burlington, Ontario the city next to my hometown of Hamilton. One of my best friends and local comedian Donnie Coy introduced Carey on his first amateur night at comedy club Yuk Yuks. Jim didn’t do well but fellow comedian Wayne Fleming encouraged him to keep going. He did and the rest is history. Funny story. The night before my stag and doe years ago, I met up with Donnie and Wayne at a restaurant as Donnie had some prizes for our stag and doe. In an interview in 2007 Carey said if he hadn’t made it in comedy, that he more than likely would have been working at Defasco steel mill in Hamilton! My dad worked at the other large steel mill in Hamilton (Stelco). Small world, lol! Again, I loved the reaction! Cheers! 😊

Note that this movie and "Dumb & Dumber" are both directed by the Farrelly Brothers. They have other comedies that are a lot of fun (even if they do not have Jim Carrey). Look at these other Farrelly Brothers films: Kingpin, There's Something About Mary, Shallow Hal, Stuck On You, Dumb & Dumber To (with Carrey)

Cable Guy (which co-stars Matthew Broderick) is well worth the watch as well.😅 Another forgotten gem that stars Matthew Broderick & hardly gets a mention is "Out on a limb." It also marks one of the earliest screen appearances of another comedic genius Mr. John C. Reilly. 👍

My favorite Jim Carrey film! IMO, possibly his best comedic role, but sooo underrated. I had so much fun watching your reaction! Great job Miss Emma! ❤❤❤ Also, if you can find time for this film, I'd love to see you react to "Unstoppable" with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. It's based on true events, and from what I found, it's around 80-85% historically accurate, which is a stellar percentage for Hollywood. I just think that you'd enjoy it. 😊

@Emma: Layla didn't forget to take the kids. She abandoned them so that Charlie, whom she knew was an old fashioned simpimg cuckold who didn't contest the paternity in the delivery room, would continue to raise the kids he knew weren't his. If paternity tests at birth were mandatory worldwide there would be a great reckoning bordering on social disintegration. Then again, mandatory paternity tests would go against legal presumptions. Such as, the presumption that all births within a marriage are the product of the married couple. If the "husband" doesn't contest the paternity within x amount of time, he'll be responsible for"Jody's" kid until they reach adulthood.
