believe there's validity to both sides. yes, baus is creating pressure via endless pushing, farming enemy camps, attracting enemy jungler attention and still going even/ahead in terms of tower progress, all the while being the ticking time bomb via W passive. however, the negative kda his strategy entails is abnormal, creates direct pressure to teammates when his fed laning opponent/jungler roam, and indirect pressure to teammates via discouraging kill count. when your solo que strategy REQUIRES cooperation and trust from teammates while causing knee jerk reaction, that is a problem, irrespective of the resulting win rate.

I really respect thebaus man. He's not just saying that feeding is bad and getting kills is good but rather what is gained from that death and what is lost chasing for a kill. Losing the mid tower to ekko for a kill on heca was a great example and he understood it was bad

people really under estimate the value of a pressure sponge. No lie, I love having a good yorick/sion on my team just constantly destroying sidelanes. It makes it so much easier to win macro wise when all you have to do is just delay the fight for the main objective and wait to see how many people rotate to the split push. Guess its too hard for solo queue environment to understand though.

People have to understand death in this game is just another resource. That alone would be enough to make "what do you trade the death for" instead of "did you die" the better question each time. But when you add in bounties and sion's passive, then it's clear that looking at just KDA stats is the wrong way of going about it. You know babus understands it when he talks about good and bad deaths.

As a tryndamere main i have to say it it realy hard to maintain a good kda as melee champ. You run in you do dmg but in the new patch every adc has 130 armor with GA passive. Dont listen to the haters.

Tbh he is such a skilled player but imo often he still ints first gank. Often there's not really a reason to die first blood (unless if you can secure kill in passive). He's just so good at Sion that that setback of dying first doesn't end up mattering in the end. The thing that most players seem to not understand is that he trades deaths for gold or some sort of pressure, which makes it much more even than you would think. Eg, even if he dies invading jungle, he still takes all the camps so it's even macro play, with the benefit of Baus getting gold for the jgl camps.

Its easy to forget on youtube or twitch chatroom but that funny comment about grayscreen or whatever is shit this man has to look at like 10000 times a day. Also when streaming is your day to day normal life it's easy to forget that you're living so many people's unattainable dream life. We're all here to see Baus having fun with the game. Hope he can keep it up as so many of my favorites burnt out long ago.

People tend to value flashy outplays and champion mechanics more than game knowledge and good macro because outplays show immediate results of skill whereas good macro pays off later in the game which is where sion’s scaling thrives.
