I am a 70 year old lady but love my music. I discovered Rain a few years back and was hooked. He’s absolutely amazing. Gives me goosebumps watching him perform. Rain reigns!

I've been a fan of his for many years and actually have a poster of him from "It's Raining" on the wall in my bedroom. He gave a huge outdoor concert just before he did his time in the service which is a must see. At 41 he still looks amazing, dances like he's still in his 20's, and can still sing the birds out the trees.

He is so charming, dont you think? please watch and react to the other Rain MVs (and his hidden jewels that dont have MVs as well), he is exceptional and it will change your life like he has across the Asian continent, even after 25 years as his music is so timeless and with age he has gotten better in every way... exceptional human, dancer, singer, actor, foodie😂, mentor,...and now dad and hubby too! Not many artists can survive over 2 and half decades and still be at the top amongst the current idols and actors. Korea's national treasure for sure and they ought to be proud of him, especially with his humility. I love Rain’s voice, his sense of humor & him as a beautiful person. He failed so many auditions due to his looks & even his height. He was desperate & tried so hard to be successful. He changed the “Beauty” standard in south Korea. His story was just so inspiring. If I remember correctly, Rain was the first idol who ripped his shirt off on a TV live stage when it was actually prohibited. Had a smile on my face the whole time! Rain was my introduction to kpop, he was also my first concert ever! I begged my parents so for Christmas I got to go to Vegas to see the legend of Rainism and let me tell you that was a life changing moment lol. I soon got into TVXQ and honestly nothing will ever top Rain and ot5 TVXQ vocally and talent wise for me. Rain, Junsu and Yunho are the best dancers in the world and Rain along all 5 are the best vocalists. Also Rainism came out in 2008, same year as Mirotic. That year was insane. Seeing Rainism and Mirotic performed at the Korean end of the year award shows was just like wow lol the most powerful artists of the kpop industry to ever exist. I do believe Rain was the biggest solo artist of Asia and TVXQ was the biggest group. I remember back then when I was getting into the Asian music scene, Rain was basically called the Michael Jackson of Asia. Also rain hasn't been with JYP since like 07 I believe. Rainism was under his own company J.Tune Camp which made MBLAQ. Rain has so many good older songs. I recommend exploring his discography!

Thanks for reaction - time flew by for me as well. Best Present was his proposal song for Kim Tae-hee. Rain was my intro to kpop (after watching the comedy drama Full House) His song, It's Fun, featuring mamamoo in 2020, was my favourite summer song that year - i still have to dance now when I hear it. His voice has such a great tone to it - and Mamamoo sounded great on it as well. Also really enjoyed his most recent album - Last song features some of his baby group, Ciipher. Aurora is a pretty song. One with JYP has an amusing mv. Although G Dragon sold the most number of tickets of any solo Korean artist for a single world tour (Act 111 MOTTE), Bi Rain has sold the most concert tickets ever for any Korean solo artist over all his concert tours. Hope you react to more from him. 100% agree that he is a crazily talented artist. Also, his acting in Full House at times amazed me. I couldn't believe that a 21 year old could portray some of the really deep emotions so well.

When Junho was younger hé was associates to rain (phisically) hé he was nicknamed the little rain because he looked a lot like him and was influenced by his music

Junho as a teen performing Rain is a deep cut that only hardcore Hottest have seen, but it is memorable. And back then the resemblance was much starker. And Junho loved the comparison back then. 2PM did perform Rainism the year they debuted, with Jay Park in lead.

Rain is definetely a mood. I really like this jyp sound and the company now has kind of alienated from it sadly. I have a very high bar in kpop because Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) was the first idol I heard in 2004 whit's "I Do" and "It's Raining"... he is so talented that it was difficult for other idols to reach that level, I think that today there are very good idols, but Rain was the king from 2000 to 2020. I too found Rain through Ninja Assassin in 2010! I was fascinated and searched him on youtube! There is a doku of his training methods for the movie! Very good anf funny doku! Becauce of him I got introduced to K-Pop! You definetley have to watch "love song" and " love story"! The 35 min. movie version!it´s so worth it! But bring tissues with you! And don´t forget to wath hip song, his movements will blow you away! hidden gem for me is f. ex. 11 days and Aurora . Another funny story is.. for the song "sad Tango" he trained a woman, (not sure anymore if she was an actress or a civilian) who couldn´t exactly dance to this day! There is a doku about this, too! This was sooo funny to watch! And the last I want to say is, watch his dramas! One of the best in my opinion are "a love to kill", my first K-drama ever! unforgettable for me, 2. Fugitive plan B, 3. Ghost doctor! There is so much to discover! Please stay with him, discover everything even if you are not online!

Hahahahaha! I discovered Rain much earlier than my other biases. I learned of him through his drama 'Full House'. Although I prefer him as an actor, I appreciate his gift to the world. He was on the world stage earlier... When single stars were much more common. He is fantastic though.

It's amazing how different the kpop community is but honestly it's a toss up whether fans are to blame and it really depends on how they manage/raise their fandoms from the start. For example, Super Junior's Lee Seungmin revealed his relationship and got married a few months later and ELF really didn't take it well. They harassed him terribly and demanded he leave the group, so he went on hiatus for years and finally came back solo despite never officially leaving Super Junior. Similarly, Chen of EXO was also severely harassed and attacked by EXO's fans who felt he betrayed them when he announced he was going to wed his girlfriend and start a family together. People protested and burned albums like children because of some delirious, self-entitled feeling that they "own them" - which is just sick. On the opposite side, fans of BIGBANG's Taeyang celebrated when he announced he was marrying his girlfriend whom he had kept secret for years. We threw a party and even fondly stick up for his wife as if she's our sister. Same with Bobby of iKON. His marriage and baby announcement came quite suddenly, but majority of fans were super supportive beside a few. Perhaps it also has to do with how artists are given freedom depending on the company and also how companies manage the fandoms, as well. Artists feeding into the delulu concepts certain fans have only grows that feeling of "you belong to me" that some fans have and it festers into complete hate and toxicity once the artist falls in love or - God forbid! - start a family. (being sarcastic) I just hope the new generation doesn't make the same mistakes and ends up more accepting.
