Yes! Doing a no buy has actually brought so much joy in my life, and it's insane what I managed to save in my bank account by just not buying makeup

That’s what I do on my channel 😊 I’ve bought 5 makeup products so far this year. Pretty good I think for being in month 10 tomorrow!

For a very long time now the makeup channels have been entirely about consumption and thus, marketing rather than actually USING and DOING makeup. Which is why tutorials have died out but the presentation of "new", always the same products continues. It's buy and declutter to an insane level. Just wasteful 🙄.

If you buy all the brands, you get repeat after repeat of colour, it's just quality and application that you end up keeping them for....

Some women’s shelters accept gently used makeup !! Posh mark and mercari are good too if you want to sell it. Some goodwills or other donation spots will also take makeup. Some theater programs will too, like high school theaters or college theaters etc!

Ugh! But then there is Huda and Sydney Grace.

I always think I’m good with just Natasha but then I remember that there are others I love too. And A few Pat McGrath but you only need a few her new palettes suck and the rest a repetitive.

@@emilydoesit8383 I am not a huge huda fan, I got rid of hers years ago. I do really enjoy Juvia's Place I have 5 of their palettes, Oden's Eye and Lunar Beauty. I have 1 4 pan from Nomad I can't seem to declutter, one from KVD the lolita palette (talk about old school lol), Kaleidos Flower Punk is still hanging in there as well but the majority of my shadows are ND and I am about to buy her new one "i need a nude". I have 6 of her $65 range palettes, 4 of her larger 5 pans, and 1 of her small 5 pans. I still want to grab another of the small 5 pans as well as one of her large palettes too. I just have such a hard time justifying over $100 for one palette. I have never tried Pat McGrath, nothing of hers really sucks me in, especially for the cost.

I heard about that too that’s why I didn’t buy any of his palettes and will not buy until the problem is acknowledged by the brand. I have a blush from PT and I was paranoid about it but I checked it real well and it doesn’t seem to have anything. I know only the palettes were talked about but it makes you wonder about all his products 😫

@@luxiemua8913 yes, unfortunately I had no acknowledgement about that issue when I purchased both eyeshadow palettes until I went to see the picture of the new one and saw the comments regarding that. 😓 Yes now I'm like is that with all the cream/powder formulas 😖 I'll probably be skipping it now.

Yeah I think its best to avoid it. After all, eyes are such a sensitive area and no makeup is worth risking our health ☺️
