I first heard this Imperials song in California in 1979. I was stationed at the Marine base El Toro. Soon after I joined the Calvary Church headed by Chuck Smith. This song changed my life. By Grace, Through, Faith. Thank You Jesus.... I know your there, even when I slip and fall. Thanks for picking me up recently. I know I fell pretty hard. I'll stay closer form now on.
Gary, I was in the Marine Corps 73-77 stationed at Parris Island, Camp LeJeune, Camp Foster and back to Camp LeJeune. I was saved 18 January 1975, while on Okinawa. Christian music help get me saved. I attended a "Teen Challenge" in Kosa City, Okinawa, they played early contemporary Christian music "Love Song" by Chuck Guarrd. Got out of the Corps 1977 and started listening to The Imperials. Praise HIS Name.
Wow......1 person doesn't know good music when they hear it. This brings me back many years ago when I listened to this as a teenager. One of my favs along with "Finish what You started". In my 40's now & this music is still dear to my heart. Russ Taff has an amazing voice. Thank you for posting !!

This was one song that repeated itself in my heart when I was overseas in the military. I wore that album out playing it as an encouraging reminder to me that God forgives!

I fell inlove with this song n 1987..... the one that i heard 1st.was praise the lord..... omgosh too hear it again n im forgiven just a joy just leaped back in my spirit.... ty...imperials...I got literaly n my prayer clost n listen too praise the lord. then after prayer time .i would play im forgiven.... i didnt know jesus yet. .. but i was going too church reading my bible at home. these songs were preparing me tooo pray n praise back then . n that is what I do...... praise him..... praiss..him.!!!!!!!!

He went through a lot of darkness, but thanks to the Holy Spirit, when I see him on TV now, he is peaceful as a Lamb. God works wonders and miracles. Praise the Lord in Jesus’s name!

I love the Imperials, especially Praise the Lord. We shared lunch with them and discussed their work with Elvis. They prayed together and voted whether to go to Vegas. It was unanimous to follow where God led but not Vegas. A very wise choice!
