Saw these in Dublin years ago, around the time this album was released. Small venue in the city called Whelan’s. They were very good. Towards the end of the gig they threw loads of confetti from the stage into the crowd. After the gig the lead singer and another stepped off stage and took a sweeping brush and began sweeping the confetti. A member of staff approached him and said that’s okay, you don’t have to do that, I’ll take care of it, to which he replied it’s okay, I like to sweep. True story.
@@imfrombarcelonatvit's been long since this video has been up yet you still replied to someone much later, so how's the band after all this time, are y'all still together or have moved on to other stuff.
I cannot help smiling when i hear this song and watch the video with all these guys singing and dancing along as if they were the happiest people on earth! :) Really coo!
Reminds me of when I lived in Helsingborg. It was on SR P3's playlist for a while. I love this song and just saw the video here on YT for the first time :)
i love how happy this song feels! everyone singing together, the tune and the lyrics its so welcoming and makes you feel so happy and care free. i love this song even 15 years later.
Without question, my new favourite band. I love this band. They look so cool, so happy. The songs are TERRIFIC. I suggest you investigate "This Boy" and "Growing Up Is For Trees" too. 👍🏻😊 Great lyrics on this song too.
I saw this video 18 years ago and I felt then like I feel now a sense of home a loving among a brotherhood of men and women a cheerful living of compassion and consideration
I’m 10 years too late here but when this song came out is when I started noticing hipsters. This song was adored by hipsters and people reading Pitchfork before Pitchfork was cool (and then hated).
Fantastic :) Swedish people are always creative in music, at least that's what I've experienced so far (Molotov Jive, Lo-Fi-Fnk, Slagsmalsklubben, The Hives, I'm from Barcelona etc)! Want to see them in Stockholm next month.
@@noejuliansaavedra I'm from Barcelona are From Sweden like all the others bands he mentioned, they are not from Barcelona, so why the laugth?? Edit: Creo que eres española, joder se nota cuando dicen "Barcelona " que no son hispanohablantes como lengua materna....
You guys are awesome :D This video is wonderfully goofy, but it fits the quirky upbeat nature of the song to a tee :D I've always wondered why you wrote this song as you're not from Barcelona, but Jönköping, Sweden? ;)
I'm gonna sing this song with all of my friends And we're I'm from Barcelona Love is a feeling that we don't understand But we're gonna give it to ya We'll aim for the stars We'll aim for your heart when the night comes And we'll bring you love You'll be one of us when the night comes I'm gonna sing this song with all of my friends And we're I'm from Barcelona Love is a feeling that we don't understand But we're gonna give it to ya We'll aim for the stars We'll aim for your heart when the night comes And we'll bring you love You'll be one of us when the night comes We'll aim for the stars We'll aim for your heart when the night comes And we'll bring you love You'll be one of us when the night comes But we're gonna give it to ya But we're gonna give it to ya
Ok so the episode starts off with the dog walking forwards, then the title card “Badly Drawn Dawg” appears above of him, then he gets hit with a brick. He can then be seen barking 3 times, grabbing a bone, chewing on it, the proceeding to be crushed by a tree, then start chewing his bone again.
