Have become a big fan of yours. You seem to live every word you sing. Your singing is absolutely touching. I think more people should know your interpretations of Tom Waits songs.
Stripped the emotion right out of it just like a proper cover,lol (now Richie Havens, there's a guy who could cover anything and make it sound like HE wrote it). Also, if people are impressed by her "amazing voice", you should try turning on the radio some time. I don't like leaving negative comments but I see so many positive ones and I'm thinking 'these have to be like, just her friends or something'. As a Tom Waits fan, i cannot endorse this. Now Bette Midler covering some Tom. or Sarah = great ones. But this just sounds like your friend went up and picked a Tom song on any given karaoke night. It's like this song was filled with air like a balloon and I'm hearing it all get sucked right out. This is constructive criticism, I'm sure she's a talented person or whatever, I'm just shocked at all the positive feedback.
