I agree with all of this except the cold war take. Snipers were annoying but it was the most balanced COD other than sniper. Operators are beyond dumb...movement is overdone
I still think flinch is a fair trade for having a waist up, chest up 1 shot kill box. You shouldn't be out gunning me at ranges where other weapons should dominate. If you can pull it off, cool. But CQB/SMG range? AR/LMG range with ZERO flinch and I hit you first? Nah...
Target demographic is kids, even though the game is rated M. I think MW2 and earlier games were designed a little bit more for adults and that’s why they’re so much better. Shit sucks now who plays this filth?
This is why I've made the pivot back to PvE focused games. At least with Diablo 4, I know I'm gonna WANT to play it everyday and I look forward to everything they have in store. It's not perfect but its far from terrible. When I want a PvP fix, XDefiant fills that void. CoD just isn't it for me anymore especially with the yearly $70 minimum

Lol you talking about the snipers on Cold War and how they were unfair then you say OG MW2 was your favorite. The game notoriously known for how OP the snipers were on all three levels. Make it make sense. For your point about the crazy character skins, I love them so much. These guys are willing to put more money into the game to get skins (which they can’t even see in game) that make them more visible. Easy kills. I will never buy skins lol. At the end of the day, COD is comfort food. You know what you’re getting with. A recipe that has been standing the test of time due to the great and satisfying gameplay it provides. Treyarch makes the best COD games and what they’ve shown makes me ecstatic. Unpopular opinion but Cold War is my favorite COD of all time, and I’ve played every single COD when they came out. At the end of the day though, it is your opinion and I respect it. Just wanted to get my thoughts out there.
Yeah. I don't care for the lethality of them, it's the no flinch that I don't like. OG MW2 snipers had flinch, and if I seen you, got a shot on you to disrupt your aim, then you were a sitting duck and they most of the times left the lobby in frustration. Of course they'd get lucky might get a headshot from time to time from the flinch, but it wasn't all the time. But yeah, the no flinch for snipers on CW is a no go for me. Have your waist up, chest up 1 hit kill box, but the flinch should be a fair trade. Not because little Timmy wants to QS in peace with people using ARs, SMGs and LMGs. Nope, you wanna QS, then you know what the risks and rewards are. 🤷🏾♂️

Finally a youtubers who isnt meat riding sniping in cod. Also the game is 300 gigs,always online even for campaign. The pre order bs which is pay to win. Im also pretty tired of having to go onto different websites and platforms and whatever for in game content. I dont wsnt to go to twitter or discord or twitch or RU-vid or whatever just for content. Like add that to the f*ckin game if you buy it not force me to buy mtn dew or pizza or whatever for a calling card. The base content is usually trash so your only options for any decent cosmetics are be online to make sure you can swarm any website at anytime for codes or tweets or whatever, have insane skill to get a wz nuke even w sbmm and cheaters, be a streamer,or pay 1/4 the full games price for a few decent cosmetics since the bundles are littered w garbage stuff no one wants

The campaign yes has always been dark and gritty and that’s ok that’s what we want however having over the top skins in multiplayer is not a big deal. You claiming they are pushing skins on you is not true…they are not forcing you to buy skins they are NOT REQUIRED TO PLAY THE GAME. your saying this about a franchise that has always been over top I mean just look at zombies. So yes if the campaign had over the top skins there would an issue but it’s just in multiplayer so who cares.Imma make a video explaining my points better but yea your points are not valid
No, you're just not getting it lol. WaW had a dark and gritty setting, it translated over to MP just fine. Only DLC was map packs and those even stayed within the setting. BO1, same thing. BO2, kinda sorta, but it didn't market themselves as a serious shooter given the setting it was in. Cod 4: MW, serious shooter. Translated over to MP with no issue or disconnect from the setting they put the game in. MW2 (OG), SAME THING. MW3 (OG) Same thing. However, once they started going the route of exo-suits and advanced movement, it wasn't market as a super serious shooter like previous titles. So I can RESPECT the wacky things that are to come, whether I may like it or not. Fast forward to now... You bring back the MW series, making it a dark, gritty, semi tactical FPS. MW1 wasn't too crazy but it was a catalyst for things to come. MW2 we start getting crossovers and skins that DON'T coincide with the setting they're trying set for the gamers. Again, the campaign and the marketing shows a "serious, fast paced, boots on the ground shooter" Get the game hop on MP, and you see bunny suits, knight in shiny armor, Dark Souls skins, Snoop Dogg, etc. 3arc comes back and starts with CW, again a serious, gritty shooter, head over to MP after about 3 or 4 months. We're seeing Rambo, snoop dogg, Diehard, capt.Price if you pre ordered MW. Weapon packs that have death animations that turn you into a joint, pixilated body parts, turn you into skeletal remains with paint around you, etc. Blackcell skins with black smoke screens and crash bandicoot apple grenades.. All in all, you can say whatever you want about "skins not being a big deal" but when you have a consumer who looks at COD only a certain way, it can be a major turn off to them. Your response to that is probably "deal with it." But how long is someone supposed to look at CoD and how they market the next title as a "serious shooter" only for months later to start seeing crossover TV show skins and wacky weapon packs that pull the immersion away from a M rated game and could be mistaken as a T rated game? Once fortnite showed companies that people are willing to pay arm and a leg for skins, mostly all bought in. Haven't seen BF2042 add anything like that and that's only because the community has remained verbal about their displeasure for it. They never did it with previous Battlefield titles, so why start now? I don't care for it anymore. It's the SAME CYCLE with CoD EVERYTIME. Once XDefiant gets their act together, I can go have fun with a FPS that markets themselves as a "fun, arena shooter" that doesn't punish you for having a good game by sticking you on a team of little timmys against a clan of pro gamers warming up. Aside from CoD, there's other FPS that are free to play that combines BF and CoD that I'm looking forward to called Delta Force: Hawk Ops. So I have plenty of other options when it comes to FPS games that can easily scratch my itch. I won't miss CoD one bit unless they start doing remasters. 🤷🏾♂️😌
Also, you're right. I don't have to BUY them. But, I'm tired of SEEING them. If they stop marketing and pushing teaser trailers of this intense shooter, then I could be a bit more receptive to the wacky skins, weapon packs, etc. But no, they chose microtransactions over making something that stays true to the formula and what made MW what it was or just CoD in general.

@rivas1671 CoD is boring and old to me. I mean, if you enjoy it, then by all means be my guest. But I have ZERO interest in it at this point. I've played it every year starting from MW2 2009, then just watched it go down the drain with MTX and skins. Taking things away that we all want and using them as a selling point for the next CoD. Also to be fair, MW2019 was their "kinda milsim" approach to CoD. It could be an arena shooter like Overwatch and I'd STILL be tired of it. I'm gonna go play games I ENJOY like I said previously in the video. However, you go enjoy CoD. 😌🤷🏾♂️
