Hi, thank you so much for the video it was super helpful, especially seeing a more recent video from 2022! I just found out yesterday I've got through to the final interview for '23 :D
Just got through to the pre screen interview for 23 so binging whatever videos i can find 😂 The energy at each stage of acceptance in this was so infectious though so hope the programme went great
Loved this vid - super helpful so thank you! I've got through to the pre screen interview for summer '23 and just a quick question - would you say that most people who are offered a pre-screen get onto the program or are lots turned away? Just trying to weigh up my chances as I have never wanted to do something more in my life haha!
thank you so much and congratulations!! and a lot of us got accepted this year as they were really excited to bring us back! I know it’s a competitive experience but honestly be yourself and I’m sure it’ll go well!☺️
Hi Leah, Recreation Attractions - do you know anyone who got this when you were out there? If so, where did they work and did they enjoy it? Thank you! Katy
I didn’t as that isn’t a role that is usually opened to CEPs. I think it’s available if you’re a DCP applicant tho! There’s some RU-vidrs who I watched who were in that role and they loved it!☺️
Just got my offer letter from Disney for the CEP this Summer to be a photopass photographer and so excited! For sorting visas, when did you manage to go to sort that out? Because I don't know if there are only limited dates available for them and I'm hoping I still have enough time to sort mine out before I go!
That’s incredible! Congratulations!! And I would get it done as soon as possible! I’m sure yummyjobs kind of advised us through those steps though, but if not I would look at getting it done as soon as you can!☺️
This has been so so helpful for future applications!! Thankyou 😊Did you have to write any essays for like why you want to work there or what culture means?
@@leahjane_xo okay that's cool, thanks for letting me know 😊 I wonder if they're going to stick to the quick turnaround application process of it's worked well for them
To be honest I can imagine it’s been really stressful so I’m honestly not sure, but I definitely preferred the fact our wait times were like a max of two weeks rather than months☺️!
I believe you have to be in your second year of uni, you can’t apply as a first year student! I’d check on the yummy jobs website to be certain though!
@@leahjane_xo that sucks if it is the case - yummy jobs says that you have to complete a semester but with no specification of when, and i cant seem to find anything elsewhere. im in sixth form and would love to do the program asap!!
@shadesofwhitee I know it’s definitely university level rather than a-levels! But there is also other programs available! There’s the CRP (a year long program) and the academic exchange program (a year long program when you’re a student in uni - specific to uni and course) which again has all the eligibility on their website!
The Cultural Exchange Program is only for university students, there is the cultural representative program which is open to anyone over the age of 18! On a website called yummy jobs, it has all the requirements for each program x
Keep an eye on the yummy jobs website/Instagram as they post all the openings of when to apply! Sometimes it’s in the July of the year before, other times it has opened in September throughout October so I’d definitely just keep an eye out!x
So the CEP you have to be enrolled into university and be in your second year I believe! The 2024 applications are already complete, so I would keep an eye out on yummy jobs (either their socials/website) if you meet the criteria for the CEP! On the website it also has all the info on the criteria you need to meet to be able to do it☺️
@itsfenneh697 I believe it is an accredited university course rather than college. Are you a UK participant? Just as I know other countries have different requirements for the CEP and have to go directly through Disney☺️
I won’t lie I’m not 100% sure, some people from what I’ve heard have already received theirs but it can be different for every person/each year the length changes!
I’m ngl my year was a bit rushed so we knew it all from applying to interviews to being accepted in around a months time. I applied at the start of April and knew by the end but I think usually the applications open around now, you have interviews in like September and you find out before January x
I’ve literally loved it! there’s definitely been moments I’ve missed home (like missing events/milestones) but I would 100% recommend it! made friends for life, made so many mems!☺️
