This is very different than my other animatics, but I had a lot of fun with this one and I think it's the first one that I didn't do in one sitting. I listened to this song for more than 15 hours on loop. And also, thank you Runeixx, Circle, and Magicflakes for helping me with ideas for the animatic, you guys were a big help in making it. I love that the characters from Fiona and cake aren’t just opposite gender versions of the original cast and that they have a few different personalities then there counterparts. Though this might make it harder for gumball to forgive Marshall and get back with him because of there clashing personalities

Sadly even if they are Marceline and the the princess as guys (even if honestly considering how original they are you could see them as siblings more than a gender swap version) their relationship status doesn't improve like that of the female version, they are a kind of "Fanfiction" in the Adventure Time universe and while in Fanon we can see them as a couple because of their female counterparts in the Canon their relationship never improved and developed like the English one unless whoever wrote this "Fanfiction" first (I completely forgot who wrote that) or whoever used that "Universe" to write other stories write about Marshall and Gumball development/getting together they are still stuck in the "We hate each other" phase but definitely share the same past relationship of the original version but not the development of the original version so they aren't Canon yet and I don't know if they will ever be if it doesn't continue, but one thing we can be sure of is that if they will ever get together with someone it must be each other because there's no better fit and their original female version is Canon, so their story even if slightly differently definitely develops like the original one.

@@varianmoonstone2492 The person writing the fanfiction is Simon (ice king), who oddly enough, has even hinted at the fact that Marshall and Bubblegum have history together when he mentions Bubblegum's diary/journal. Even if he has his own way of developing his characters, he still brings a lot of what he sees around him into the world. Since Marceline invented Marshall lee, and her and ice king started hanging out more again after a certain season, cough cough spoilers. I don't see why 'theoretically' her and Simon never talked about this, and he never implemented it into his story. Even then, (SPOILERS!) when he turned back into himself and he might/ might not continue writing Fiona and Cake, he'd probably implement those two together as some point. - Anyways, not that much is canon, but more so personal headcanons. I've also heard that they have a lot more 'moments' together in the comics, but I haven't read them all so I wouldn't be 100% certain. But hey, who cares? Let's just fill the gaps of the many pages of Ice kings stories we never got to see with this creative fandom. (I agree with you on the last bit!)

i had no idea this song existed, but i'm so glad it shows a bit of bubblegum's side, especially since it points out marshall's/marcy's trauma & unhealthy coping mechanisms that (at this point) bubblegum doesn't know how to help with so bubblegum tries to take them away, even though they're all marshall/ marcy has. especially the part where bubblegum shouts "because i care?!" as a reason they ended up breaking up the first time. no matter how much they care about each other, they needed to grow up a bit & develop a personal life outside of each other before they could reconcile. on a side note, i would love to know what what marshall/marcy was doing after the breakup before returning to the tree house. if it was ever addressed, i must've missed it
