I'm from the Philippines and Jollibee in Malaysia doesn't taste as good compare to the ones in the Philippines. When you visit Philippines again one day, you should try Jollibee there and compare the taste in Malaysia. Great video! 👍🏻

@@janemariefuentes2988 just to be clear I do enjoy filipino favourites like Adobo and Bicol Express. I do feel every day food choices are more abundant in Malaysia, like mixed rice. Anyway it’s just my opinion.

@@BenFMK mixed rice is everywhere. 😂 we always prefer what we’re used to. I hope i can say something i like in malysian food but i don’t know anything uniquely malysian coz it’s not something popular outside malaysia. Ive tried springroll but you can find that anywhere else, ive tried nasi lemak but thats just like literally frying a chicken with some sauce on the side, ive trued those noodles what else?

@@janemariefuentes2988 nasi lemak’s sambal is the most authentic part that u should never miss, and it’s not easy to cook a super delicious sambal. U should try to cook them yourself. We dont care about the popularity as long as it fits our tongue and tummy 😂. Travellers can come here to enjoy and surely longing for the food when they go back to their countries hahah

Agreeee👍🏻 been there in 2018 & tried Jolibee twice in manila. Not so long after that they open a branch in centre point,KK...the taste was the same😆 & 1 piece for a chicken part i consider small😐 compare to the other brands like kfc or borenos...totally not worth 4 the price💸

@@markodea It seems so, when I compare with Jollibee Singapore. It has a subtle difference in taste (I bet with the use of certain frying oil I assume ever since jollibee is made Halal here in Singapore, which is not in the Philippines (understandably). Still surprised that Vietnam is enjoying jollibee there and has some menu options which are not normally found in the Philippine menu. Now, I'm curious on how "bad" Jollibee there in Malaysia (haha, I assume it has an identity crisis whether the recipe should retain the Philippine taste or slightly change for the local taste). How much Jollibee...ehem... "botched" the taste of the original real flavor of Jollibee especially the fried chicken, haha. Oh well, Jollibee is never known for consistency in their food (I still have a love / hate relationship with Jollibee in terms of the quality of their chicken joy, sometimes would be chicken sad :D).

Actually Jollibee did open its 1 & only outlet in Api-Api Centre, KK during the 90s but it only lasted a couple of years.

I think they did. The chicken and spaghetti looks different. And Jollibee doesn't serve buns. I went to KFC in Malaysia and it's NOT KFC.

Okay lang kahit di nila magustuhan dito sa Malaysia ang Jollibee..di nmn ikalulugi ng JFC yun... At di rin nmn nakakabawas sa pagka Pilipino natin... Dapat marrybrown lang ang the best (dito) ... Di pwedi maging mas okay ang ibang fastfood chain Lalo na kung from foreign countries... So para sakin kung ayaw nila edi wag... 😅

I like only nasi lemak malay food. Other than that is no more. I like Thai food than Malay food. Malay food has no varities. Just same same ingredients in all thier food.

Id really love to say its about preference, but I heard somewhere that they changed the recipe in Malaysia in order for it to get halal cert,. Im pretty sure the Philippine's version of jollibee is 100× better, and since everyone in America is praising it, it might be because they are using the original recipe.

Philippines was never colonized by the Portuguese and Japanese.

It's because Philippines has the worst food among 9 Asean countries I have visited and eaten the food. For them, fried chicken with white rice or on pasta can be a meal they eat regularly. They mostly don't eat spicy food which is so needed in tropical climate to stimulate your palate. I have seen brownish and pink gooey gravy of some of their dishes, not appetising at all. So safest choice is Jollybean and grilled chicken if you visit the country.

Yeahh, I wonder also why there is a bun? 😅lol... I'm working in HK, I saw many local eating at Jollibee, mostly kids love the spaghetti & chicken 😉

Actually Jollibee opend in KK much earlier in the 90s but only lasted a couple of years.. It was opened at Api-Api Centre..

Not fat, its the flour combined with spicies, MCD fried chicken also have it

They eat at fast food and expect it to taste like an authentic cuisine.😅
